    Thank you SO MUCH for this video. I was thinking about this for a long time. I feel you. Everything seems so great in my head but started recording and nothing connects as you said. Even if with the edit the final result actually works, it was not a pleasure during the recording and I always have the feeling I'm telling so much shit but actually it's just because it's the 5th time I'm telling the same sentence trying to "force" myself. Super frustating.
    I guess we are these types of people who need to write down stuff and read it in a great manner.
    Thanks again ;)

      Thank you Justin! Great point on the recording experience itself. It's completely different when you feel like you actually have a flow rather than multiple attempts at the same sentence. Appreciate your time and input, thank you!

    Thank you so much mate for creating this video. I really appreciate it. You've provided a lot of value in this video (including the script of your video), I will try to put it into practice. Cheers!

    I tried using a teleprompter and it just wasn’t for me :( I would try again maybe one day but I usually just have my notes and am able to talk mostly about what I have to in the video, but man does your speech sound good, love the vids.

      Appreciate you Mikey! Hey if you're able to record off of notes, I think that's a blessing. I would love to be able to do that haha

    Looks like I'm one of those rare types. I one take jake my videos. I tried using a teleprompter in the beginning but it felt unnatural and inorganic for me. I have some honest tips I can share.

    Do you shoot with your FX3 at all anymore?

      I actually sold my Sony stuff a few months ago to pick up a Red Komodo 😅

    Did you switch to the Canon R7?
    I really need a B-Cam for my BMPCC 6K Pro, which I could also use to take photos. Do you think it should be enough for my needs?

    • @boywithacamera
      @boywithacamera  2 роки тому +1

      I just picked it up so I'm still testing it out. So far the image quality looks great though so I think it might pair well with the 6K Pro. Highlight roll off will still look a bit different but should be close enough. Ideally you'd be better off with another pocket, but you already know that haha

      @@boywithacamera Thank you so much for replying!
      I’m really just in the market for something more convenient for when I travel/casually hang out with friends. The BMPCC is just way too big.
      My options are either this Canon R7, the Panasonic S5, or a new APS-C that I’m hoping Sony might release later this year.

      I feel you on the convenient travel/hang out camera! Honestly the biggest reason I picked this up. If you're using EF lenses at all, that might be reason enough to grab the R7 instead of the others.

    • @gregmaggi01
      @gregmaggi01 2 роки тому

      @@boywithacamera I do in fact have EF lenses! But doesn’t the R7 have an RF mount? I thought I would still need an adapter

    • @boywithacamera
      @boywithacamera  2 роки тому +1

      @@gregmaggi01 Oh shoot you're right! I thought it came with an adapter but apparently it doesn't. At least you'd still be able to adapt lenses though with full communication between the lenses and your body!
