Foraged for some fresh wasabi. Wasabi わさび needs a lot of fresh water so we followed a stream upriver and found a patch of young wasabi plants. It takes about 2 years for the root to form but the leaves are equally spicy and delicious. We also found fom bracken ferns heads わらび . I'll show you a quick and easy way to cook both.
