I submitted a patent for a Wi-Fi hammer that disengages a clutch in the head and starts flopping around if you don't pay your subscription. It charges via USB Micro.
@@HolowatyVlogsBut, USB Micro bends easily and sucks for disconnect and connect cycles. It's the perfect choice for this product. You just have to charge a user negligence maintenance fee every time it wears out for every time it needs to be repaired. USB Mini is by comparison, much more robust.
@@HolowatyVlogs Hot take: I think USB micro is better than USB mini. Because the latches are on the cable rather than the port, more stress and wear is put on the (easily replaceable) cable rather than the port. I remember my Windows Mobile device with a mini usb port, and the constant wear caused the port to be looser over time. All that being said, USB 3.0 micro b is an abomination to all mankind. To be honest, before the days of USB-C, I really liked the design Apple's 30-pin dock connector. It's a little frustrating Samsung made their own (similar) connector rather than adopt the PMDI connector. It never wore out the same way micro USB connectors did (because latches were not only on 1 side), and the risk of port damage is lower on short fat connectors. Although a lot of the pins on the 30 pin connector became vestigial, and Apple never made it an open standard -- I wish a similar connector design caught on. I feel like we could have lived in a universe where a "USB PMDI" connector became a thing before USB C came around.
Ben you should take all your Menards slop and combine them into monstrous chimera devices that overheat and are charged by USB mini. I would love a crappy electric shaver with two ridiculously bright led bars to light up my beard.
The absurdity of Australia post is that they will not let anyone mail a spare 18650 battery , but they will allow someone to mail a rechargeable device with one built into it. so I have been forced to buy rechargeable power banks to get 18650 batteries shipped to me which I salvage out of the power banks.

The white patch on the back of the battery compartment is a water vapor permeable membrane, like Tyvek but for electronics. Prevents liquid water from going in, but allows water vapor to exit… or enter.
