Just cleaned out my garage and found my og purple /gold vaiders from like 2008/2009 chad muska was an innovator with Supra and Kr3w they felt like they were on the same level as bape or supreme before Justin Bieber ruined the brand . Sad to see such a nostalgia company from my childhood fell off so hard .
Jesus Christ the new company completely screwed the legacy of this brand
Going into high school in 2021 I would look at style tip videos and I was planning on getting Supras because I thought they were still popular but then I found out nobody wore them after 2015 :(
Damn I remember when i got my first ever pair of supras! Even thought they don’t have Supra anymor, I bought 7 pairs in my closet. My favorite pairs I own are the purple patent suede TKs
I’m glad I looked into this before buying a new pair of Supra Skytops. I miss my nearly indestructible Supras from back when they were made by skateboarders. I tried Straye, but those disintegrated quick as fuck.

Was a huge Supra supporter have tons of kicks still, but I'm almost embarrassed to wear them if someone thinks they are associated with the new trash...
Skytop 2 and 4 are still my favorite shoes of all time, only can be bought used nowadays but im stocking up on them whenever i can. The new shoes look trash have to agree, thats not even Supra just dead corpse.

Rad! I have no idea if that outlet is trustworthy or not, it always struck me as a little sketchy, but if you've actually gotten the shoes, then that's good to know

Hey. Found this video actively searching for docs explaining the fall of Supra. From everything I've seen this is like a masterclass of how to destroy hype for a brand. Which is insane because Almost 15 years ago it broke through as a legit competitor to legacy brands. The original founders selling it was the death knell for any future success because the parent companies owning them seemed to just be eager to cash in on the hype appealing to the lowest common denominator such as the awful collabs. Fast forwarding to 2023 it doesn't surprise me in the least they'd end up doing NFT and crypto shilling as well as utilizing AI generated "art" to cut out any creatives that could've helped maintain the last shreds of merit they had.
