    Ciao, this is my home town, I see you have been on budget but there are a lot of attractions you can see in summer in Pula like underground tunnels Zerostrasse, church of Holly hearts that is a museum now, aquarium in old Austro-Hungarian fort, and not to mention all the festivals, concerts, beaches and activities you can do while here. it is perfect for more slow pace vocations if you want to relax at sea and eat good food.

    I just came back from Pula last week, it was absolutely boiling 36 degrees and about 25 at night, absolutely loved Pula it's not massive like most places I've been in Croatia (Split/Sibenik) but very charming, as a mixed race person I am conscious of the places I visit as I have two beautiful daughters and I really want them to not feel stared at and Croatia has ALWAYS been super welcoming to me and my family.

    Two vlogs in one day, what's going on here then? Watching this one with a wine (coffee for morning only, it's evening now) 😍 Such amazing history. So much architecture in Europe was destroyed during the wars which is a huge shame (then again war itself is insane at any time). So happy to enjoy these wonderful places through your eyes (and microphone!). Keep safe and keep loving 💕 PS the stupid bots that drop inappropriate comments on a site like yours (or any other for that matter) make me SO angry 🤬

      Hey 👋... Thanks for giving us the heads up on the bots! 😤
      😂 🍷... We are trying to upload every day for the next couple weeks. Around 10am GMT..
      This country has exceeded our expectations in every way! The history, the people & the land is breathtaking!!! We're excited to show you more 🖤🖤

    Ok with the pizza and the pasta, but seafood is not exclusively Italian unless it's an Italian seafood dish. One Croatian traditional seafood dish you need to try is "Škampi na buzari".

    • @parttimetravellingfamily
      @parttimetravellingfamily  2 роки тому +1

      We will definitely be trying that dish... thanks for the recommendation Kristijan 🖤

      @@parttimetravellingfamily you're welcome, you also need to get grilled seabass, dalmatian spinach, šurlice (Croatian pasta), pašticada (Croat sweet meat dish) and also try and get some fritule (dessert dough balls).
      You can find all of those in Dalmatia, south Croatia. Also better wine.

    Very interesting and well presented videos! 👏
    I'm very glad you like your stay in our country and having a good time exploring various places!
    As you're gonna see although relatively small Croatia has huge number of amazing places and things to see and enjoy in!
    You should definitely visit much more places both at the Adriatic coast, amazing islands like Hvar, Brac, Pag and Rab, ancient cities like Split, Zadar, Sibenik, Trogir, Dubrovnik...
    But please don't make such mistake to avoid also amazing continental Croatia: Plitvice lakes national park, some amazing castles like Trakoscan and Veliki Tabor nearly Zagreb, fairytale baroque era city of Varazdin to the north, Josip Broz Tito's birthplace Kumrovec - village with interesting outdoors traditional architecture museum, astonishing Museum of the Neanderthal prehistoric man in Krapina, very atmospheric city of Osijek with fortified old city center in region of Slavonia (eastern Croatia), medieval town of the Ilok also famous for their exquisite vines and restaurant at the might Danube river, Slavonski Brod with star shaped baroque era fortress and monastery, Djakovo for it's grand cathedral and noble Lipican horse stables, beautiful Pozega...
    At the end I have to say that Zagreb itself deserves much longer stay since you've seen only a fraction of what this beautiful city has to offer!
    Wish you all the best!
    Ps. You're such a nice family! 👍
