Love my 15v Manix2 it’s bad ass that we get BBB heat treat in a production knife. Hopefully I can get a custom from Shawn one day

k390 and 15v in the same sentence, say no more!
Thanks for stopping by and checking out the video!
How is 15v with respect to corrosion resistance?
STRETCH 2 PLEASE
And we thought the 15v Manix was hard to get…
I’ve had opportunity to grab one for +50% over standard retail. But y’all scalpers can shove that.
What is 15V?
Cold Work Particle Metallurgy Carbon Tool designed for high wear applications which require more toughness than cemented carbide. Laymans terms: everything you like about CPM M4 and K390 with better edge retention and sharpenability with little real world trade offs compared to K390. NOT A STAINLESS STEEL
@@FearNoSteel cpm m4 would be tougher, correct?
@@KimballPrecision ua-cam.com/video/WOpu13O_OFE/v-deo.html
Toughness at the edge may not work like how you think
3V - roughly 3% vanadium
4V - roughly 4%
10v - 10
15V - almost 15% vanadium.
Thank you.
