because it's a studio monitor, not an entertainment/movie/gaming movie speakers.. Studio monitors are intended for sound engineers for it's sound accuracy
Yeah, too bad you need to get a studio subwoofer with a separate line out to use with the monitors. They should've put a sub out in the back of the Presonus to give us a choice. Nice idea by the way using a movie track to test the speakers!
I know right! I think pre-sub out should be standard for all bookshelf speakers. Giving the consumer a choice to add it or not, wouldn't hurt to have it. Thanks for checking out my video :)
With these monitors you go source to sub then sub to monitors. This guy didn’t even know what TRS connections were. Look elsewhere for a more informative video.
uneducated reviewer.... If you were looking for gaming of movie speakers you shouldnt have even bought these... or any studio monitor. i have these and i use them 50% volume and they are very loud and clear. im ordering the 8inch sub for low freq. my workspace is a bedroom/Office and its WAY TOO LOUD. i edit video and really dont need a monster system. the fact that i wont be stressin these out, they should last long time

Presonus t10 sub has outputs to connect these two 4.5s
Is it better to buy separate USB based soundcard to get better sound rather than PC louysy motherboard soundchip?
Definitely, it's world of difference.
Connect them using xlr cables, they sound better
