Dave is an acquired taste for sure. Though his 90s stuff is actually (shall I dare say) borderline fantastic. Youthanasia album is probably his best vocally.
As some one who can impersonate Dave (due to having the same kind of vocals lol), this is pretty accurate compared to what I do. Good stuff here for anyone interested in doing a Megadeth tribute band
The main reason to learn it is because his voice is very unique and you use muscles and styles you’d never use otherwise which can be used in your every day singing It’s more about the way you do it than actually doing it
Mad respect for actually referencing songs from every Megadeth era. I swear, it feels like everybody forgets that they made music post Risk.

absolutely amazing not sure if this is a master troll or a real tutorial but either way well done sir.
It was gonna just be me doing the voice but then I wanted to explain how and it became a tutorial
Glad you liked it
can you do a tutorial on how to sing like abbath from the black metal band immortal?
Thanks man.
you kinda look like him too tbh
Funny you say that rewatching this I was definitely using his facial expressions
I think I mimicked the Osaka 95 a tout le monde lol
he really doesn't
call it an imitation not sing like Dave plus the snarling as well
That’s what it started as but as I kept explaining how I did it
I just felt it was more a how to/tutorial
Hello me

Why the hell would you want to sound like Dave Mustaine?

The real question is: who wouldn't?
