True! I've experienced it firsthand when my kids got severe sunburn. I gave them handfull of aloe vera gel 3x a day. It really soothe the burn and helps with the itch, also the new skin came out soft and back to the regular form, texture and color

Aloe Vera also has Anti-Fungal properties as it helped treat my ringworm.
I burned my hand really badly with hot oil from the BBQ once, many years ago. it took a piece skin off my hand about 3cm in diameter. my Ex partner went and grabbed a fresh Aloe leaf from the garden and told me to rub the juice onto the burn. it helped with the pain, and it healed up really quickly with no scarring at all.
I am so happy because I found an aloe plant just sitting on my pantry and this is pretty helpful because now I know I just helped my skin

I live in Hawaii so sunburns are a thing for everyday life here. Specially if you go on a weekend at the beach. I happen to have a big aloe plant at home and every time I get a sunburn I cut a piece peel it and let all the middle part sit in there over night and I swear by the next day is like magic. The sunburn drastically decreased and it doesn’t hurt anymore

Facts! Nothing helped my son's bad sunburn but the pure gel from my mom's aloe vera plant. Nothing from the drug store worked. They made the sunburn worse. My mom went to her backyard and got one of her plants and then sliced it open and scraped the gel off of it and applied it to his skin. It was a MIRACLE! I'm going to go buy one soon.

that's bc it's been proven that MOST aloe vera products sold in stores and pharmacies does Not contain No aloe at they are fake products better off using Real Aloe Plants
I washed scotch bonnet peppers ones and didn't use gloves. The burn on the hands where awful. The aleo vera eased the pain within minutes. My skin felt hot after initial application but that eased in seconds

I had 3rd degree burn on my back when I was a child, my mom never took me to the Dr she just applied Aloe Vera, fresh off the plant, 3x a day. I have no scar or anything in that spot. It looks normal. From then on I've always keep an aloe plant in my house and outside🩷

Can someone please help me understand why there are some claims that aloin is poisonous and some even say that aloin can cause cancer so I'm very confused about the benefits/health risks associated with aloin. Is aloin safe?
Yeah I’m confused as well. I see many people harvest aloe leaves and drain the Aloin (aloe latex, the yellow sap stuff) first before using any of the gel inside. But some people don’t? The internet isn’t helping either. I think aloin is just bad to eat? Or at least in high amounts? Just because it’s a laxative of sorts

Aloe Vera doesn't hydrae alone, it only keeps whatever water is inside
So try slapping some water with it (ideally a mist spray) everytime before it tightens

Try to do it at night as a face mask. Either wash it off or just massage it into your skin till dry. Then add the serums. Your skin repairs itself when you sleep :)

Isn't aloe ferox a better alternative, aloe ferox has contains alot more aloin than aloe vera. Aloe ferox doesn't have to be filtered like aloe vera plus aloe ferox is used by burns units because it's able to penerate 90% deeper than aloe vera

Allegedly, I've been looking through videos about aloe vera and I saw a comment under one of the videos where someone stated that their brother had 3rd degree burns and he regularly applied aloe vera and now has no scars, which of true would be very impressive!

Aloe vera is mainly for moisturize. If acne scars can go for vitamin c, niacinamide

I am doubtful if it can REVERSE UV damage to an individual cell, BUT it might have some compounds that make damage less visible though.
Also (just in case anyone tries this): Regardless of its ability to reverse UV damage, is NOT a substitute for sunscreen (which protects from UV radiation)
