- The last couple of years you have asked me many questions about my hammock setup and to share some tips and tricks about it. So here you go! @AmokEquipment is sponsoring this video and will supply one of you with a full Amok Drumr 5.0 Kit (regular or XL)

2. Amok can only ship the prize to certain countries (link below).
3. The winner will receive 1 Draumr 5.0 hammock, 1 Fjøl pad, 1 Skjold 10 tarp, and 1 pole set. There will be one winner and they will receive all of these items. These are the regular models and the contest does not include ultralight models.
4. To enter, simply comment on this video. (For example, tell us what colour Draumr you would pick, a question you have about Amok, etc. You do not have to write an essay; any comment will be considered.)
5. A randomized comment picker will be used to select a winner from comments on this video. Comments on other videos will NOT be eligible.
6. You must write your own comment to enter. Replies to comments will be filtered out by the randomized comment picker and will NOT be eligible.
7. One entry per person. Duplicate comments will be filtered out by the randomized comment picker and will NOT be eligible.
8. Profane, vulgar, political, or inappropriate comments may be deleted at my sole discretion and you will not be eligible if your comment is deleted (I don't want to delete anyone's comments so don't write anything offensive or extreme and you'll have nothing to worry about).

Have you heard about tents? No problems getting in or out and no need for trees to pitch them. 👍😉
Have you heard of Swedish and Norwegian forests with rather uneven ground and full of sticks, cones and needles? Then a hammock is perfect because you don't have to look for level ground and the forest is full of trees. 😉🤗
Also, the comfort once you are lying in the Draumr for sleeping is hard to replicate in a tent

I've always used hammocks where you sleep in the same direction as the rope and the swinging side to side gets to me some times, this looks like a great design from Amok

Thank you for all your answers and tips. I also use Draumr 5.0 (cammo) and all I can do is praise Amok for a perfect design. It is comfortable and each morning I am fresh and well rested.

Very informative video! I have been camping with a Dutchware Chamelion hammock, but like the idea of a hammock that faces perpendicular to the ridgeline.
