First impression of the OneTigris "Evil Eyes" titanium stove: Pretty good. Kept me warm, cooked my rice, boiled my water. Took some work with the bellows to keep it blazing though, so it may need some modification to improve air flow. *Thanks for tuning in!* 🍻
Great vid mate and glad to see the draumr in action don't worry about the multi tool getting a bit tired get yourself a pot grabber cheap of ebay that's what I use after I cut the handle of my frying pans to save weight and space atb mate 😀👍
Your grandfather Pardy once wrote: "Stand on a bold headland Lean on the wind And watch as the waves By the thousand roll in" This reminded me of that.
Brilliant video. What a wonderful place. I have been using Amok for 2 years now. I love it. Sleeps like a baby, and I’m changing position like a million time’s a night, without any problems. A little advice about the inflatable sleeping pad. When you fill it with air, hang it over the ridge line. That will keep i clean, and making sure you don’t puncture the pad. From one who made the mistake🤦🏽. It’s a bummer in the middle of nowhere to puncture the pads and having to repair it, when its getting dark🤬. If you still have the repair kit, or weary little sleep!
I like the One Tigris "Evil Eyes" Titanium Wood Stove you used, went to their site and they have a lot of cool products. And that stove is only $19. I am also planning to buy the AMOK hammock, how I ended up on your video. I already hammock camp and looking for an upgrade. The "seat" function is what really sells me on it.
Awesome! I hope you enjoy the AMOK hammock - it's a primo piece of kit. No complaints about the wood stove, either. It gets the job done. Come back and let me know how it works out for ya, eh?
@@radarbase Will do. Should be getting both within a month and will do a test hike here in Michigan. Think I might also get some poles for staking out the ends of the tarp, with that rocking, looks like the head/foot might touch the tarp. Poles would also allow me to stake them tighter in, decreasing the trip hazard. Thanks for the video!
Always look forward to watching your video`s and this one did not disappoint. More stunning scenery and that coastline...Wow! The Amok does look very comfortable and ideal for your spring I should think with all that damp ground about.👍👍👍
I'm looking forward to camping at this site soon! It's a shame the tent platforms have fallen into disrepair, but the area is beautiful and great for a hammock hang.
Oh my those short tailed shrews would not last long with my 3 year old collie 😂 Great video as always glad to hear it’s warming up same here but the sea is still only 10degrees so cold The fire box is nice ❤ Take care and keep safe
Through the hammock? Pretty much. It'll sway a little bit as the trees shake, but the inflatable pad and shape of the hammock keep you in a cozy pocket, especially with the tarp above.

That's a good tip. Works well to keep it dry in the rain too. Cheers, bud.

That's some appropriately named coffee. :)
_Ha ha ha ha_ 😉
Excellent videography and editing, love the simplicity of your camping
Much appreciated @Getting-On -- thanks for tuning in!
Great video! Thanks for sharing it with us!
Cheers Millie. Glad you enjoyed it -- lots more where that came from!
hmmmm....did not hear your good morning when you woke up....its one of my favourite parts...lol
Thst was some quality videography, damn
Cheers mate 🍻 I appreciate that. Thanks for watching!
Love it! New stove looks peetty good and the hammok looks as if it would gently rock you to sleep. Could you hear the sea from camp?
I could, it's a great campsite with lots of space.
I love my amok and it totally reminds me of falling asleep on my sailboat!
The 'oh its chilly' dance you did when you came out of the tent made me giggle. I wish i knew how to make gif's
Glad you got a laugh out of it, KT.

Such beautiful scenery and you capture it so gracefully. Very peaceful vibe.
That's kind of you to say, Vanessa 🙏 Thanks.

Cheers, Mark 🍻 The Amok really has been a treat -- pricey to get, but no regrets so far.
Amazing video! Just beautiful scenery everywhere!
Thanks, Bruce, glad you enjoyed it 😍I live in a beautiful province for sure
" the worst part about making coffee like this is you haven't had any coffee yet" Haha brilliant.
It was true back when I said it, and it's still true now 😂

Scout would have gone crazy too, if she were with me 😅
Nice video. How do you like the Amok?
I'm impressed with it so far. It's a little awkward but high quality and very comfortable. Will put together a proper review down the road!
Great videos of some great countryside! The Draumr 5.0 is epic! Quick question, what pack frame is that?
Hey thanks! The pack frame is a "Cabela's Prestige Frame & Harness" that I've made some modifications to. It's discontinued now though.
@@radarbase thanks buddy - keep up the great work!
What if it's windy?? Does the air just blow right through?
