This 25 minute workout uses kettlebell exercises in a Tabata format (20 seconds work, 10 seconds rest, 4 minute rounds) to work the entire body while keeping the heart rate up. Options for all fitness levels.
*By functional I mean you can comfortably swing or carry it **bestgym.equipment** around as one would expect of a kettlebell weight. By versatile I mean the protective coating does not prevent attaching magnetic micro-plates to increase the weight, so, for example, a 35 pound kettlebell can be increased by up to 5 pounds in weight or possibly a bit more by attaching magnetic micro-plates.*

i didn't feel like going to the gym and i did this instead i am sweating bullets. Shower time!
This workout goes against every principle of both the Tabata method and kettlebell training. At the very end you do some swings but your not even getting them parallel to the ground. If this is supposed to be for beginners, then beginners should be doing 1 minute or more of kettlebell swings. The Tabata method is for highly trained athletes, not recommended at all for beginners.
I think you are correct. Most people I see working out at gym are using KB thusly.
+Runsontrails it's just use KB for the big handle.
Amy I have to say that as a fully qualified Personal Trainer and a qualified Group Exercise Fitness Professional that your workouts are challenging, engaging, not overly complicated and guaranteed to give anyone at any fitness level a full and complete full body workout. I love your videos, when I am short on time (I weight train 80% of the time) these videos are life savers. Keep up the good work gorgeous. Great work out. I currently trying to lose weight I'm 5.5 and was 12 stone, I have lost 3 pounds through eating and exercise. I can't afford to use a gym so I watch videos like yours, thank you. It's not easy to lose weight but I am determined.

I watched many fitness videos but somehow I always turn to Amy. Nice to watch, not over enthusiastic,not over complicated or long but do get me in shape.Like it!
At first I was like "20 seconds is not that bad, this is easy", and then I was all "Ahhhhhhhaaaaaaa"...very deceiving. lol
I have been doing this workout and another one of your workout vids and I must say after 1 week I feel stronger, I see a difference as well. After gaining 40kgs I lost 30kgs and these workouts have been great for toning my body. I highly recommend them especially if you are a busy stay at home mum like me 💛
I couldn't make it to the gym this morning so I did this workout. All I can say is wow! I don't think I've sweat so much before lol. Thanks for the great workout 😊

You are far and away my favorite follow along fitness trainer. I'm a fairly large dude, I do CrossFit, and you kick my ass every time. I typically grab a 20kg kb for these kinds of workouts: I often have to drop to 16kg for yours. I echo what others have said: your pregnancy videos are beast mode. Your kettlebell and TRX stuff are pure gold, thank you so much.
Can I talk about this workout??? My abs are popping, I feel strong and got me in amazing shape. The right level of challenging. I’ve actually done this workout for 2 years now and every time I come back to it I’m stronger than ever after a couple of weeks. Love her and love this!! You go mama!!!

You are doing the swings wrongly. You shouldn’t lock your knees nor press your butt. WRONG! Wrong!
I love this workout. Thank you, Amy! My 16kg (35 lb.) kettlebell just about kills me. I may have to get a 12kg and work up to the 16kg. I sync'd up your vid with my tabata app (Tabata Timer for HIIT; it's awesome, buy it) which helps me lots.
🔥 Great stand alone burner but my overly ambitious self did it after the 12 min booty kettlebell workout ☠️ 😂

I used to struggle to get through this workout with my 10 pound kettlebell. Especially the lunge round, my legs would give out and I couldn't even add the twist or I would lose my balance. I just added this in as a quick bonus today and I was able to do the whole thing with my 18lb kettlebell. Thank You so much Amy for all your videos and hardwork.. I have gotten stronger than I ever thought possible. I m so grateful for your channel. I love this kettlebell workout it is fast and furious!

I want to start with this work out and I've never been using a kettlebell before. I am not in a very bad shape, but I want to get rid of my bellyfat. Now I have this question: how many times a week do I have to do this work out? And am I right, is a bell of 8 kg good for me to start with?

Ive lost 3 pounds in 4 days from doing these workouts. One in the morning and one before I go to bed, along with my job that requires me to stand and walk all day. I don't eat the best and that is the next think I have to work on, but wow these workouts are amazing! Thanks so much Amy!

When I bougth the kettlebell a year ago, I was sceptical (like it's somethin for guys, am I gonna like it and so on). Now I see it was a perfect decision.
Enjoyed this workout, though I had hoped the ten seconds in between was truly 10 seconds, at one point there wasn't but a pause, other than that, thanks for the video!!

About how many calories can you burn while doing this work out?
This depends upon your weight, muscle to fat ratio and personal fitness, they are all factors that contribute to the amount of calories you would lose during any workout. You should always use the numbers on any gym equipment as a barometer of how many calories you have burned and not an accurate / full amount.
