Me TOO! My sister-in-law bought it for me this summer and it’s been a real game changer! Before I had my seeds in a little tin and photo album and every time I opened that silly album seeds would fall out -.-
I also love to garden at night,I use a spot light and a headlamp. There is something peaceful about the night and the colours are extra beautiful when they pop out of the blackness. A tip for transplanting taught to me my my mum was to water in the hole before setting the start into it. A tip from me is I put a small “handful” of either bone or blood meal or both into the hole too. I use it quite liberally to top dress too. This year I also found a bag of composted chicken manure to amend my beds to go with the regular sheep/cow manure. I found the chicken compost at Lowe’s,it was about $18/bag but it lasts long since you don’t need much. I should run to TSC and see if they still have the frost covers on sale. I usually get mine from the dollar store, they are the Schmidt brand and last fairly well. I love that little light you have!!
Love this! Thanks for sharing 🥰 I would snip the carrot seedlings not pull them. You don't want to disturb the roots. I love "new blank space" lol. No mosquitoes!! Yay! You got A Lot done! Woohoo! Did you start all the brassica from seed?
Sarah this video is Super Cute, who knew you could grow lettuce in the fall. I made a similar video to my channel so happy you can grow things in your season still. Very inspiring for my next growing season.
Don't be frustrated with your tomatoes. They didn't do very well anywhere this year till late in the season. Your garden does better sometimes if it's not so organized and pretty. Stick to tried and true varieties. They taste better and are usually proven producers.
Love how you organize and keep your seeds.
