12 Grammys, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice inducted, Kennedy Center Honoree, hell of an actress, icon, legend, survivor, inspiration to millions. Miss Tina Turner. RIP🕊🕯
She is my personal hero, after more than 30 years supporting and admiring her, your departure hurt me so painful, but to forever she will be in the most sacred place of my soul, she teach me that you are the self owner of you way and all is about of you perseverance, courage and bravery, while you keep you respect for yourself nothing can defeat you.
My favorite performance I love her in that white Blouse and jeans she looks so herself. She sang her heart out . That's my girl. You will never be forgotten.
Yes that's the same thing what I was thinking her voice was the same just like the recording unlike most artist, I seen her 3 different times and she was Amazing...Simply the Best..
I was also so happy for her that she married a man that loved and adored her and they had a happy family life in Switzerland and shored up an inner practice of meditation. She created love and peace in her life. Thankyou Tina!!
The performance on Letterman was everything. The band was excited and Tina was excited. The guy The played the saxophone was great. Anyone know his name
This is my favorite Tina Turner song ever...I don't know all of her music but this one is special to me because it's probably the first song of her I remember hearing and one of the first songs I remember hearing on radio period. It was released in 1993 when I was five years old, and in my memory I remember this playing while I was playing outside.
This is one of those Few Perfect Songs. The building Crescendo, the Perfectly Built Bridge, various keyboards and topping it off with the Sax. They performed it as close to the original album version as possible. Paul’s delight at the intro is quite telling and Will and Sid’s concentration on the sheet music allowed them to pull off a perfect rendition! To believe the 2 bands pulled this off in one day of practice is quite telling.
This wasn't my first song I heard, I was 9 back in 1993. What's Love Got to Do With It was the song I heard from Tina Tuner before, but I do remember thing song playing at the end of the Whats Love Got To Do With It film and it was like the the modern capsule on that whole film where Tina was at currently musically IMO.
I love the fact that he did not ask her about Ike, this is the second interview I have seen of him with Tina and he just asks her about herself, so refreshing.
It’s one of my favorite performances on Late Night. The band is so into the pocket throughout but especially that downbeat into the second verse does it to me every damn time.
I have never seen her lip-sync anywhere! Now that IS a performer! She is truly missed, thankfully we have many dvd’s of her concerts and her albums! Wish she would have done one more full album in 2009 when she had her last tour...
There's a few of this kind of TV performances on UA-cam where she lipsyncs, but that's probably only because the TV production wouldn't do live sound, for anyone. There used to be a lot of that on TV - it was just easier for the TV production to not worry about live sound and broadcast a recording instead. This one is live, though, and she's in great voice here. Also, the pony demonstration is amazing.
There is a ton of lip syncing videos on UA-cam bro. But all from shows where the required it like Top of the Pops. She’s never lip synced a concert though
@@Aaronbegerttt I miss her but she knew how to finish on top! Her last tour at age 69 was AMAZING! All live, full of energy, thankfully released on dvd! She had an amazing career and knew when to stop…
@@Aaronbegerttt Sadly nobody can do it forever and unfortunately she had loads of health problems after retiring, but she did her last tour while she was still able to give her all and at 69 she was still on top form.

She and Dave had good interviewee/interviewer chemistry. It was fun to watch them - if she wasn't enjoying herself she was too classy to let it show. Hope she realized how much she was loved and admired. RIP Tina Turner, we love you and miss you terribly.
I saw her in concert around this time...can't believe it's been that long. She got on a platform on a crane and went into the middle of the crowd and sang...it was AMAZING. She is the GOAT hands down. Only thing she didn't do was play an instrument lol...It was an experience for sure.
I loved Proud Mary when I was a child but had no idea who sang it. Discovered Tina when she released What's Love Got To Do With It. Then discovered Tina's discography
What a legend wherever she played. A God sent entertainment for us. She gave us her all . An angel in my life with her live in singing and entertaining us

Yes. My favorite Tina Turner performance. Who is the saxophone player, he was really in it.
I agree 👍 💯 beautiful song, white is definitely her colour ❤❤ Don't know how she sings this song without breaking down ❤❤

David is genuinely in awe of Tina, and Respects her so much. She's a real Queen.

She exemplifies everything a woman can be. What a classy, talented lady!
How? By divorcing herself from her heritage? By fleeing the country that made her famous? You see a hero, I see a sellout
@@rashadjames8996 Whaaaaat? She's got a right to go where ever she wants to go. She earned it. Nobody owns her.

She has a very strong personality. She looks friendly and kind. Beautiful soul with beautiful Voice. GOD bless miss Tina Turner. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
A class act. I loved her music when I was 16 in 1985 my mom got so tired of me playing her music. Lol.

A powerhouse, and such a sweet human being. The world lost a lot of sparkle when she left.
