  • Tina performs "I Don't Want to Fight" and then chats with Dave. In stereo.
One of my favorite "in-the-pocket" music performances on Late Night.

This is one of those Few Perfect Songs.
The building Crescendo, the Perfectly Built Bridge, various keyboards and topping it off with the Sax.
They performed it as close to the original album version as possible.
Paul’s delight at the intro is quite telling and Will and Sid’s concentration on the sheet music allowed them to pull off a perfect rendition!
To believe the 2 bands pulled this off in one day of practice is quite telling.

There's a few of this kind of TV performances on UA-cam where she lipsyncs, but that's probably only because the TV production wouldn't do live sound, for anyone. There used to be a lot of that on TV - it was just easier for the TV production to not worry about live sound and broadcast a recording instead.
