I remember seeing her in concert dancing in high heels and a microphone with a long chord, and wondering how she didn't trip or get tangled up. I know I would have.😂
Her voice is so strong and you can feel every word such a real woman ♀️! Mad respect.just straight up music no Auto-Tune no back up music just Tina and the band..hard to find real music like that nowadays
Remembering Tina this way is the best thing we can do. Her music, her power, her passion, and her realness is put out for everyone to hear. RIP Tina, you absolute legend, you.
I saw Tina in concert in Raleigh NC. She was better than AWESOME! I've seen a many concerts, but she's the only one I've ever seen thank even her Roadies and called them by name. She was a very talented artist and a classy woman. She'll be truly missed. RIP beautiful Tina!❤
I live in Raleigh NC and would have loved to have seen her. She felt more at home in Europe and it's a shame that more Americans didn't get to see her in concert. I'm so jealous!
My 12 year old self had the great honor, luck and pleasure to see Tina belt out Proud Mary in front of 40,000 people at Shea Stadium - in 1970 with Ike and the Ikette’s! For a pubescent pre-teen watching her shimmy across the floor like water in a red hot frying pan was the most amazing thing I’d ever seen. I’ve loved her from that moment on and followed her career in every tour and some 15 live performances in 4 countries ever since. Tina is a national treasure... and ohhhh man those legs.
Tina Turner! I love the way you tore into this song with your heart and soul! And let's not miss the great Jack Bruno, holding down the house on drums. Look him up! He toured with Tina for many years as well as others. Kenny Moore... Tim Cappello, the entire band. Hats off! RIP Queen Tina Turner. True talent.
And this is how you gauge a great singer ~ BELT IT and killer live! NAILED THIS SONG FROM THE RECORDING. Young singers of today ~ this is the real thing. No tricks ~ no b.s. ~ all gut singing, true blues........ and this was counter-culture from Madonna, at the time. Glad to be an owner of the LP Private Dancer, got it right after it came out! OH YEA ~
Private dancer ,was bought for me on my 26 th birthday ,still have a record deck to play it ,amazing LP ,used to love singing and dancing to it ,in my bedroom lol !!!
It's a shame the artists coming up now don't follow her lead. The "singing" they attempt today is a travesty. I have always loved her...not only for her voice, but for her ability to overcome all that she endured in her life. There is a special place in Hell for people like Ike Turner. I have nothing but complete respect for her. Even to this day she doesn't bad-mouth him her even really acknowledge anything that spewed from his mouth about her. And the best part is she found her true love, her soul mate. What more could one ask for?
"I Can't Stand the Rain" was originally recorded by Ann Peebles on the same record label as Al Green. It's great, as is this far more fiery live performance by Tina. I tended to like Tina's original material better than the remakes on her solo albums ("Missing You", "Unfinished Sympathy", etc.) She did a track with Sting that is my second favorite track of hers (my all-time #1 being "What's Love...") The track I am referring to is "On Silent Wings". Check it out, it's so gorgeous and moving it will take your breath away. The album "My Wildest Dreams" (I think that was the title) had several wonderful tracks, including a good one with Barry White and a very good version of a Pet Shop Boys tune called "Confidential".
This was my favorite concert back in 1985 and her vocals and performance on HELP was like none other....this was a classy lady and entertainer and none other like her in her category....RIP!!
I first heard the version from Missy. I few hours a go I heard the original and thought to my self wow the way she sings the word pain is unique and very beautiful. Tina's version here was recommended by UA-cam and the way she belts out the word rain..amazing, it shook me. Missy's version has its merit but in no way superior to the original. Tina's Energy and range is exceptional.
an amazing performance of my favorite song by Tina - the energy that woman brought to a stage - wow!!! the way she comes across that stage to jump up on the piano platform - like a cat!
Let her adorable Tina inspire you some more & pull out the best stimulating mood of each track, the mighty Queen is dead, long live the Queen fans, the best reason to keep the memory alive
Kenny Moore really rocked with her, and Tim Cappello really worked with the crowd with the sax, in her concerts. The last one i saw her do, the sax player was no way near as strong as Tim, also the piano player that was with her, never had that magic, like kenny did.

She was literally one of a kind.

Tina is my girl‼️ I named my fourth baby after Anna Mae❣️❣️❣️
In 1985, I saw Tina Turner live in Oakland two nights in a row. This woman’s talent is phenomenal and she went nonstop the entire time‼️
Just awsome performance and stage presence. When she changes key and belts out "when we were together" it is the stuff of legends.
TINA COME LIKE A GOD. DEFINITELY 1 N 2 MILLION.🤔❤️
One of mi biggest regrets was never hearing her in person.
Know the feeling!😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
God Bless Tina! 🙏🏼♥️🎼. She danced better in high heels than I walk barefoot.

Tina Turner was an effing rockstar and no one can convince me otherwise.
Tina is living proof that being true to your craft eventually will pay off in the end.
Will not ever be another Tina, rest in peace dear one

They don't make music like this anymore.
The bulk of today's performers are a joke. Tina just leaves me speechless.
It's said, that Tina intimidated a lot of performers. I'm sure to be performing with the Queen had to be nerve racking! She was perfection.
Tina and Kenny were MAGIC. RIP Kenny🙏🏼
Rip Tina! ❤
Together now ❤
Now RIP Tina! 5/24/23
Who was Kenny ?
Kenny Moore is the man on the piano and backing vocals here ❤ he was with Tina in most the live sessions i've seen 🎶
Truly the Queen of Rock and Roll. No other woman is deserving of that title more than Tina Turner.
Remembering Tina this way is the best thing we can do. Her music, her power, her passion, and her realness is put out for everyone to hear.
RIP Tina, you absolute legend, you.
Can you IMAGINE seeing this. Good lord.
The original version of this song is modest compared to Tina's fiery powerhouse concert rendition. Her vocal prowess is awesome and unmatched.
That original version was Ann peebles if you didn't know.

Her energy is unbelievable ... she seems like she is about to burst in flames, explode, a human volcano ...

Skill, charisma and no play-back cheating.
