"I have everything. When I sit at the Lake Zurich in the house that I have, I am so serene. No problems. I had a very hard life but I didn't put blame on anything or anyone, I got through it. I lived through it with no blame. I'm just a happy person." Parting wisdom from Tina at 8:50 that we can all use. RIP Tina.

Tina Turner was the perfect example as to how you go about life. She was beaten for 16 years by her husband but never labeled herself as the victim. @@EJM659 to be fair Art, I’ve heard Tina state in other interviews that she really did not want to talk about her past with Ike, but people just kept bringing it up. I’ve seen one interview so far where the interviewer didn’t focus on her past but asked Tina for advice for the people listening. In my opinion, it was a great interview because Tina discussed meditation and prayer and ‘Food for the Mind.’ And I thought, wow, Tina had so much wisdom about focusing on the positive and taking care of your mental health and so wished the interview would have lasted longer. Wish people would’ve interviewed her more on her personal growth.

One of the things I loved best about Tina, aside from her singing and her style, was the fact that you didn't hear crazy stuff, like too many crazy cosmetic surgeries and weirdness, about her. In honor of Tina Turner for her life of strength, resilience, courage--Here is an excerpt from Steps to Knowledge. "Be strong today. Follow the plan that is given to you. Do not hold yourself back or alter the instructions in any way. There are no shortcuts here; there is only the direct way... Be strong today.. You must have faith in your strength and exercise this faith to realize your strength...Allow your mind to be freed of the chains of its own concepts. Allow your body to be freed of a tormented mind. In this your mind and your body will settle into their natural function, and all things will fall into right order within you. Knowledge will then find expression through your mind and through your body. From this you will be able to bring into the world that which is greater than the world, and your life will be confirmed as a result."
    (STK, Marshall Vian Summers)

I saw her in concert many years ago. She was phenomenal. She's a legend. She will be missed by her family, friends, those that loved her and her millions of fans who loved her and her music. She had to go through so much to become the fabulous woman she became. I'm sad she's gone. But so grateful she will never have to suffer or be in pain again. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family, friends and love ones.

I saw a concert by TINA TURNER about forty years ago and since that evening I have never forgotten her: she possessed a black VOICE of rare beauty: powerful in any tonality: from very bluesy low timbres to ever higher notes that went up and up UP TO THE SKY. He was an "enchanting" stage ANIMAL: he possessed charm, beauty and physique "to spare". Observing TINA, it was understood very well that for HER singing was PURE FUN, therefore, thanks to this STRENGTH OF HER, she was able to "infect" all the audience present right from the first song. Just for the record, it should be NOTED that he has always had a lot of taste in selecting EXCELLENT MUSICIANS and GOOD CHOIR SINGERS to take with him on tour, especially in the 70s and 80s. TINA TURNER is one of the greatest ROCK singers in the HISTORY OF MUSIC and will ALWAYS remain ALIVE in our most beautiful musical memories...!!! R.I.P. TINA 🎤👏👏👏💔❤
