Rockn The Fillmore one the best early 70s LP give me some Humble Pie 💥💥💥💥
Played that LP until it wore out !
Frampton is still playing in modes, and I always tilt an ear to listen to his guitar work, usually so identifiably "Peter Frampton". I've loved his guitar work since childhood, and trying to cover his licks! I can remember being in awe of him when I was 10 in '76, listening to his live album on my parents big old "console stereo". That thing had big built in speakers, AM/FM tuner, cassette player/recorder, and turn table! And it sounded gooooood!!!!!!!! I blew out the speakers playing my electric guitar through the cassette player. I used to plug into the microphone jack, and put the cassette player on "record", with no tape present, and use it as an amplifier. The problems occurred when I used an in line "power booster"! The pre amp boost blew the speakers one at a time. But boy, for a while, what a cool sounding guitar amp it was! The big problem was when dad put on a Johnny Cash record one weekend afternoon, and it didn't sound so good turned up! No bass anymore! Poor Johnny Cash got blamed for breaking dad's stereo, and I let it stick!
I used to use that same tape deck trick in the 70s also but I plugged my electric guitar into the tape deck and put it in record and use deck as a pre amp distortion! Nastiest distortion sound ever! 😀
Sounds like a blast! I see Bob Heil passed away a few months ago. He designed the talk-box for Frampton and Joe Walsh. He also designed some early and powerful PA systems for bands like the Who. He was also a very well known Ham. I used to hear him, Art Bell, and a few others on SSB HF Shortwave bands. PEACE ✌️
@@arthurhunt642 Sad to learn of Bob's passing. It's like one more piece of the past going away, but at least he got to make his mark in the world through his equipment and such. Cheers!
Peter and Joe! I love them.
Two of our greatest artists! ❤
The collaboration I never thought I needed but so glad to have. Banger of a song!
Ditto, I couldn't think of any better comment....

Frampton is one of the most under appreciated guitarist ever. Been a fan of his playing since Humble Pie.
No he is not. He is well known around our planet to be an incredible player, artist and live performer. When you get inducted into the hall of fame you have arrived and can never be called underrated. :)
So glad Joe and Peter are friends in real life. It makes for something special we wouldn’t have otherwise. 😊
