My name is Ellen Smile and I'm a caregiver for my husband, Steve. He has brain cancer and in a wheelchair. He is unable to go down stairs so he is stuck in the house. The insurance company has finally approved him for a elevator lift. Steve is waiting patiently for them to install it and then he can finally go outside. Humor seems to get us through the day during these challenging times. We will keep you posted of what we are doing as we wait for Steve to finally escape!
