- Thermobaric weapons are conventional weapons that produce devastating effects on humans, pulverizing anyone within the blast radius and severely damaging the internal organs of personnel who stand at a distance but are reached by the powerful shock wave they unleash. About cluster bombs: yeah, convention exist, but neither Russia nor Ukraine signed it. Moreover, US and China did not sign them as well.

There is no more disgusting weapon than any other when it comes to depleted uranium. Its dehumanizing effect is in line with napalm bombs & flamethrowers, except that DU doesn't impact the military at all --- its primary victims are the civilians.
My military-free city was bombed by the US-NATO pact during the 1999. bombing of Serbia.
DU is not only used for APFSDS & 30 mm GAU-8 penetrator tips - but also for the bunker buster bomb tips that were used en-masse, multiple at a time, for destroying the bridges (as conventional bridges are extremely resistant, especially ours). Unlike Iraq and Afghanistan where medical data is lacking, data in my country has shown spikes of up to 250% in cancer rate increase in areas affected.
My grandfather was a fisherman who liked fishing by the river Danube where bridges were shot. He contracted the lung cancer very shortly after the bombing, and died a horrible death.

@@DrTiggy666 Bigger cities like Belgrade and Novi Sad were peppered with bunker buster bombs since NATO was targeting general infrastructure (that was built according to high western civil engineering standards, thus commonly requiring munitions capable of piercing reinforced concrete). Some bridges didn't even go down after first bomb runs, so they had to pepper them some more.
Areas around towns like Užice, specifically around villages like Kremna --- NATO was often bombing empty fields there. A friend of mine told me about craters in the nearby, empty field. It happened to many other villages.
The bombing of Yugoslavia was specific - because it had a weird economic undertone. Unlike Iraq that was pillaged, truckloads of gold bars exported to USA, Yugoslavia (specifically Serbia) was basically a garbage bin for outdated cold-war era bombs that were clogging down the western military warehouses.
They were far cheaper to throw to the ground than:
a) Spend resources upgrading them, or
b) Pay for transportation and designated, professional disposal.
Please, go and ask your local village scientist what even is depleted uranium before writing a moronic youtube comment.

I'm waiting on your report how striking center of Donetsk without single military target in close proximity was justified and usage of tactical missile with cluster munitions to kill 20 civilians didn't break any conventions because it's ok if Zelensky kills civilians internationally.
