i was in high school, sophomore 2005 or junior year 2006, and when i first heard this album and this song especially - it couldn't stop reminding me of the movie KIDS. it probably came out around the time the movie came out in theaters too.
Afraid you're about ten years off the mark there...KIDS was released in '95. Doesn't make your point any less valid though...honestly I think of that movie when I hear this song too...good call!
