    Peeping Tom lyrics:
I'm careful not to fall have to climb your wall
'Cause you're the one who makes me feel much taller than you are
I'm just a peeping Tom on my own for far too long
Problems with the booze nothing left to lose
    I'm weightless, I'm bare
    I'm faithless, I'm scared
The face that fills the hole that stole my broken soul
The one that makes me seem to feel much taller than you are
I'm just a peeping Tom on my own for far too long
Troubles with the gear nothing left to fear
    [Chorus]
    I'm weightless, I'm bare
    I'm faithless, I'm scared
    I'm weightless, I'm bare
    I'm faithless, I'm scared
    I'm weightless, I'm bare
    I'm faithless, I'm scared
With every bet I lost and every trick I tossed
You're still the one who makes me feel much taller than you are
I'm just a peeping Tom on my own for far too long
Problems with the booze nothing left to lose
    [Chorus]
    I'm scared
    I'm scared
    I'm scared
    I'm scared

This songs reminds me of my first years as a mother. Being a single mother and struggling with own personal demons, trying to do my best but being overwhelmed, confused. Now watching my beautiful son grow year by year and realizing that every struggle was worth it.

Such as sad song that reminds me of when I was literally living the lyrics - alone, depressed, and an alcoholic. It was a bad time and I didn't think I could ever come out of it. And it took years, but I finally did come out of it. So if you are listening to this at a low point in your life please understand that it doesn't have to last forever. Keep on trying and good luck :)

One of the best Placebo songs and indeed songs in general ever written. Describes perfectly the desperation of being alone, truly alone, and possibly an alcoholic.

I don't know why Placebo's music always makes me feel nostalgic. I think that's why I love them so much.

This is where Placebo are masters. Ballads with a magical touch, who knows where they get it, this Peeping Tom, Special Needs, Burguer Queen, Follow The Cops Back Home. It's a magic no other band can replicate, no one

My story's invisible but we don't care about that.

I love how placebo told stories of the people no one cares about or is shunned by society. They humanised the dehumanised and thats a powerful beautiful thing.

When you're dead you can't listen to Placebo. None of us asked to be born, we were all just dumped into existence from the eternal void. I can't remember anything from where I was before I was born so apparently that place was pretty boring.

I just love Black Market Music. I was born in the year 2000. This album used to be my older brother's favorite. When I was still young, he's letting me sleep on these songs. Listening to it again brings me back in my innocent times.

I'm really starting to think Black Market Music might be the best Placebo album. Aside from its singles, which are all incredible, it has this, Passive Aggressive and Spite and Malice. It's amazing.

After being alienated from my daughter for a year now, fighting a corrupt system, songs like this give me a comfort. A fan from the beginning and getting older the songs give me more answers and understanding. Thank you Brian and Stefan ❤

My parents listened to Placebo when I was a child. Recently I had my 18th birthday on 22nd October. Placebo is truly nostalgic to me hence that... and it always reminds me of them, specially this song 'careful not to fall, have to climb your wall...' that how I always felt about them, and the the drawl with which Brian sings is even more accurate. The emotional walls they have put to me have made it impossible for me to create a connection with them, I have tried to climb their walls so many times, have fallen over and over and tried again... ' I'm just peeping tom, on my own for far too long...' I have always contemplated having a meaningful relationship with them, and have never succeed in having it. ' I'm weightless, I'm bare... I'm faithless, I'm scared.' Feel like I don't weight nothing in their life, like I am nothing to them, I could disappear and they wouldn't care. I'm scared they will forget about me now that I don't need to be under their wing, that I will mean nothing to them and will be left behind. That our blood ties are imaginary and don't mean nothing to them... 'nothing left to lose'. They don't have anything to lose in abandoning me, because I am nothing to them. 'I'm scared... I'm scared' Growing up with bipolar parents is truly scary, they don't love you and you have to do everything to win their love, and it is never enough, you are never perfect, you are never good enough... 'careful not to fall, have to climb your wall...' it's so tiring.

Reminds me of 2006 - 2007, I was living in a shithole town, in these flats, and behind me was this overweight guy, wearing a wife beater constantly drinking, not really harming anyone, but he was just kind of a loser tbh. Every single day I'd see him, before going to school and after, and he'd just be drinking, nothing else. Sub-consciously I just though I never wanted to end up like that, ended up going to law school and love what I do now. This song always makes me think of him...sad how some people can't change their lives around.
