I saw a meditation in which monks sat meditating as a lawnmower buzzed around them. That was a huge moment for me. I decided to learn to meditate anywhere, any time and place. It works perfectly. We have planes flying over our house all the time. They used to bother me. Now I take them as an excuse to meditate. I pretend that their ferocious roar is a wave washing over my mind, cleansing it. So now I literally welcome them, and particularly enjoy it when a whole line of them are coming into my local runway…at the nearby airport AND my mind.
Thank you! Meditation has helped me tremendously! It's given me the courage to accept myself for who I truly am!! Accepting my flaws and realizing that God has made me this way, and God doesn't make mistakes. Meditation helped me to feel better, and I continue to practice meditation bc it makes me feel great!!❤❤

Think about it, if we know with concrete evidence there is an omnipotent being that created us and is watching our every move, we would all worship Him. But the thing is that He made us with the power to choose. We can choose to follow His will guided with nothing but faith, or choose not to believe in him and receive little to no guidance. But in my opinion, it’s cathartic and reassuring that there is someone who created me believing that I can follow His Will, and being there every step of the way. That’s why I follow Him. But that’s just my point of view. Like I said, the choice is up to you.
I was stuck in traffic outside Philly after I-95 collapsed. At first, I was understandably annoyed. But then, I used it as an opportunity to meditate on how I reacted to something I couldn't control 0 the collapse of a highway!! (no one was hurt). After all, it wasn't like I could go anywhere! And it helped!!!
I often try to meditate from my balcony, but right next door is a kindergarten. I can tell you in the beginning I found it very hard to stay focused on my meditation when the kids were set loose on the play ground 😂 nowadays the kids don't distract me as much anymore. Sometimes I don't even notice them for a short while. But that only happens when I go into meditation with a task or a question.
maybe could think their voices are Buddhas voices, they are very near to a Bodhisattva i think, yes they bring their own karma, but still pure in this lifetime perceptual still not tainted again by greed of money, lust etc 🙏

Idk if meditation is supposed to be used this way. But. I have really bad sleeping problems. I decided to start meditating before i sleep. Usually a 10 minute meditation. Im finding that i am falling asleep at a faster rate. It used to take me over an hour to finally fall asleep. But now. About 30 minutes to fall asleep. I am so happy ❤🧘♀️

Good instruction. Thank you. I had a feeling meditation changed us. That it moved us away from our normal practices. All is with us already? Perhaps I need to live in a different surrounding. No problem. I suppose this life is being used (at this place and time) to prove that peace and understanding do not arrive from a god or a christ. 😊

My gf keeps telling me that you cannot walk meditate unless you’ve mastered sitting meditation. She keeps insisting I don’t know how to properly meditate since I do walking meditation rather than sitting meditation

Focus on breathing first.People often tried to get in trance state after few breathing exercises.This is wrong.The more you breathing perfectly the more your head will feel lighter.The soon you can get in deep state.

I meditate while driving, I am atune to every sense and smell, I really feel so present, I can see and focus everything around me
