But he was able to do a presentation in front of his class- using videos he edited and his text to talk device for the second time in his life as his 8th grade project. He even danced at parts. His class mates who had known him since K gave him a standing O. It still makes me cry.

Daveed Diggs! Love him! Guns and Ships is amazing, I think Diggs (the guy who plays Jefferson, in the first part he plays Lafayette) raps 233 words in 43 seconds I think it it's recorded that in some places he's doing 6.3 words per second. Also King George's parts are the best too!
My Shot was the first one that made me fall in love with this, would enjoy seeing that reaction! Best lyrics in the whole show IMO, even though there’s a million good ones.

I bought tickets for us to see Hamilton at the Pantages in Hollywood, CA later this month. For years I have been trying to convince my husband that he would actually like this play! He is trying every trick in the book to get out of going with me. If he would just LISTEN/WATCH anything from Hamilton I KNOW he will have your same reaction, how do I convince him to give it a chance? 😢 Side Note #1: He says he's not a musical fan BUT, he really liked Lion King the play when we saw it in Las Vegas. He even enjoyed Les Mis. He loves Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat (b/c he was in that play in elementary school.) And he liked Rent! Side Note #2: I watched Hamilton on Disney+ when it first came out. I have also seen it at the Pantages when it was here last time. I will see it 1,000 times no question! ❤
Update: He enjoyed it! (Although he would never outright admit it) but I know his tells: laughing at the appropriate times, bobbing his head with the beat, and the biggest tell... he didn't fall asleep 🤣

Please please watch Hamilton!! I read Rettas book a year or two before it was on Disney, once it came out and I finally got to watch it and I’ve been obsessed since. My husband took me to see it on tour last year and it was probably one of my favorite things I’ve ever done.
