Are you kidding me?!?! I can’t even believe this video came up in my search! 💕💕💕💕💕💕 My (perfect condition) vintage skates just came in and after switching the wheels and cushions I noticed they’re not all touching and when I adjust the trucks to fix it, they’re too loose. At any rate, I’m going to try switching my trucks around - Thank so much!
Thank you Pain. Good delivery.
Love your enthusiasm omg ❤
What do you do if your skates won't let you turn your feet? I always see people spin on theirs, and mine won't even let me turn my foot slightly lol
Omgg I can't believe it thank you so much this is very helpful to meeeeee omgg thanks you
I think the plate is bent. You switched the trucks and the same wheel wasn’t touching surface.
Please help me! I just bought new wheels and when I tighten down the nuts so they're tight enough, my wheels won't spin anymore. I loosened them a bit so they could spin and the nuts will not stay on, I can still spin them with my fingers. I took them out for a spin like this and 3 of my wheels fell off when I was skating. So essentially, I think the wheels are a little to wide. Is there a fix for this outside of replacing my new wheels?
I cannot for the life of me get the trucks on my Moonlight Rollers loosened enough. I’ve tried swapping the cushions with cushions from my others skates, but it either throws off the pivot cup angle or the kingpin isn’t long enough. The adjustment nut seems like it’s very wide/thick compared to others I’ve seen. Do you think I should bother with trying to find a longer kingpin, or should I just put new plates on altogether? The boots are super comfy, but that doesn’t really matter if I’m having to fight the trucks to do anything other than skate in a straight line. PS - You got “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes” stuck in my head for the rest of the day after I watched your last video! 😂😂😂 ✌🏼💜🛼
Hey Beckie. Glad you liked my lil tune in the transition video. As to your problem...I wouldn't suggest getting new kingpins for the standard Moonlight plate, it might be tough to source the right ones. If it is really problematic, which it seems it is, I would just put a new plate on there. If your boot is super comfy for you then a new plate might make your roll super smooth!
Hope that helped! Thanks for the comment!
Wow. Very informative! The girl is hot too!
