Maybe a helpful tip: use a mark or score so you'll know what you want them and county the towns from right to loose, so as to have a more accurate idea of where your most satisfied desire outcome is.
Thank you so much for sharing this info. Went skating in my new skates and felt like I could not move left or right. Adjusted my trucks and major difference. Now I can keep skating lol
Thanks for this, mate 🙌🏾❤️. I wish someone had explained this to me as a child. Not only were my wheels not for the outdoors but the trucks were probably on factory settings - super tight. Anyway I'm back with a more positive mindset 🤣
I be been skating for sometimes and I kid you not this is the first time I'm learning this, and all the time, I could not understand why some people skated so good and me as intermediate skater could not do on the rink, and I'm so upset cause I skated with those people when I first skated back in my 30s and it's almost like they know know and never passed on the knowledge cause they just didn't want you looking as good or better than them☹️
I wish someone had told me about truck adjusting, bearing & wheel replacement when I was a kid just learning to skate, I likely would have kept skating.
Great video! Regarding cushions….I’m about 195 adult with cushions that are 88a (sure grip fame indoor skates) although im new..still feels like my skates pull even with looser trucks…do you think I should get softer cushions?! Was thinking of a small jump to 85a or maybe even 79a?!
Generally hard cushions offer more stability and soft cushions more flexibility, but for the most part if your a lighter weight skater (a kid or very slim adult a softer cushion is best, for skaters who are heavier a harder cushion works best). I tend to go for a medium durometer (softness) cushion! 🙂
Been having trouble doing smooth spins and dips. This is super helpful! Thank you :-)
Holla! So glad to hear!!!👏🏾
Was great to see an actually comparison of tight verses loosened.
So glad it was helpful 😄
I’ve literally been wishing for a video that goes into exactly this progression of explanation and demo. Thank you for sharing!! ❤️🙌🏾
We are on the same wavelength, ight!!! 😁
Thanks so much! Showing the spin before and after adjusting was super helpful!
This is such a helpful explanation of trucks and their function. Ty!
So glad it was helpful to you!
Thank you cutey! See you at the roller rink in Vegas 😊
Thanks for this!!! I never fully understood how important adjusting my trucks was. 😘
for some skates, you can also buy different cushions to adjust them as well, like softer ones
Great video. Very informative and the energy was great, thank you!
This is awesome!! Thank youuuuu!!

Right?!?! It’s so important, yet often neglected. we can feel like we’re the problem when a slight adjustment of equipment makes all the difference!
That shirt crazy !
Great video, thanks for the info!
Game changer! thanks
Thanks girl☺️

Just to complicate things...hard cushions/loose trucks vs squishy cushion/tight trucks dilemma??

very helpful
When I loosen my trucks and move my skates in the air it feels like they are kind of deatached or something
Is that normal ?
What kind of skates are they those?
I’m not sure but they look like Moxi Jacks
Is it a 3y tool?
Y3
👍 👍

Thank you for showing how the truck adjustment performs when you skate! Very helpful to see it in motion
