You are not alone, I've been recovering from my 3rd back surgery in 3 years, May 1st I made it to the neurosurgeons and he put my straight in the hospital (a first out of 36 surgeries) for low back surgery the next day... I'm doing good as I had a 18mm marble removed from inside my spinal column, L4/L5 was clearly damaged in the wreck in 2011 but waited to finally rupture 6 weeks ago... My first brain injury was 1965, 2011 was the big wreck, 2019 a stroke. Here's the thing, we never give up, this last surgery has changed everything... Again. Tom you are not alone, I go to support groups for brain injuries online all over the country, I have found my people and it has changed my life. Together we find hope and compassion for our fellow brain injured. Join me Tom, we can't change what happened but we don't have to do this thing called life alone. Zoom meetings from my computer or phone, I even went to a meeting from my hospital bed. Love your yoga is free for us and where it started for me. www.biausa.org, has meetings for each state, brain injuries don't care about state lines... I go to meetings all over. Portland, Or, Saint judes in So Cal www.tbioc.org/ type in meeting schedule, I go here Monday, Tuesday at 4 pt and Friday at 11am pt Friday is a big meeting. Finding our people is key for me, I don't have to explain, our people get it. Tom, my brother you are not alone.
