Couple of things come to mind first of all the nut inside the maxle could have been stripped or stripped out when the mechanic engage the drill maybe too much torque. If the brake pads or caliper Pistons were locked out of the rotor that would have been an extreme rare situation the probability of that happening is going to be fractional Maybe 0.01%. The calipers and pistons are nearly identical to motorcycle-style calipers and pistons and they never lock up unless there's a full system type of brake failure. So if the Pistons lock the pads on to the rotor then that would definitely be an anomaly or possibly even Rider error but it's likely that the nut on the axle was already stripped or stripped during the process of trying to remove it
It's good to see that a man who is able to ambulate effectively is willing to wear a fanny pack with such confidence to model their practicality. I remember when I used to them during the 80's when they were ultra cool. The most important thing Lance was wearing in the picture was his T-shirt. It had the right school and mascot on it. GO CU!

The issue with Oura Ring is that once the batteries have gone through it's lifecycle, it is no longer functional and ends up in the landfill because the rechargeable batteries are not replaceable.

You must have good luck, good genetics, good mechanics, good tacticians, good domestics, good masseurs, etc.... If your bike fails you should expect an attack, if you are not a good descender you should expect attacks downhill, if you see your rival eating before the official point you should expect attacks.

I understand the reason behind the 3 km rule, but wonder if a rider who hits the deck on an uphill finish and crawls to the line gets an advantage over a GT rival who goes full gas till the end. No one is going to be seriously injured when crashing on a climb, but the guy who's trying to keep up is burning a lot of matches. I remember a hill-top finish when Wiggins hit the deck and Hesjedal went all out in order to not lose time. Meanwhile, Wiggins rode to the finish like he was returning home from the corner store and was given the same time. That's effed up.

However, drug use was so prevalent in that era that anyone who mattered were taking them, Lance was just better at it. And as fans we should admit that’s when cycling was most exciting. While Marco and Jan were super talented guys, no one displayed the desire to win like Lance, and that’s a hallmark in any great athlete, no matter the sport, drugs or not. Those are the guys we tune in for when we watch professional sports.

Drill did work but the front tyre/ brake was locked somehow. What was that and how that even posible?

I know what you mean, but ads pay for the show and they are live reads, so they become part of the show and fair enough as there would likely not be a show without them. So I just tune in and rip the knob off, as some radio stations used to implore.
