The attention to detail is one of the things I love so much about Geoff and VoicePlay, even small and subtle things, they never miss a trick! 🙂
My only criticism is those shoulder guard look quite plasticy which I found to be a bit of a shame considering all the other customues used by Geoff and other voiceplay members look amazing
I am not at all familiar with GoT. Would you mind telling me which character is which and what each is supposed to portray? It will enhance my appreciation of this video, which is already massive.....

My wife and I both come from music backgrounds. Her a soprano and me a trumpet player. For us, this has to be an entire 3rd scale below the bass clef. Amazing vocal spectrum that has to be rare. Beautiful.

This is definitely different from the one I remembered from the show. I honestly couldn't understand why (1) people kept asking you to cover it and (2) the patrons were losing their minds when you announced it to us, as I found it relatively unremarkable in the show. However, what you have done here is picked it up, shook it around a bit and reordered things. I think giving it that aggressive edge was a good call.
In addition, you've outdone yourself with your characterizations this time. The smirks, looks of contempt, and hautiness as well as the subtleties with their stances, not to mention the effort it must have taken to *not* move "Jaime's" right hand... I continue to be awed, you *really* captured the Lannisters. I love this so much. 😍

Despite subharmonics slowly becoming more common technique - Geoff still manages to impress with his insane controll of the subharmonic textures and excelent arrangement of the whole song.

@@kIDNEYKid-xt9uc rarely can someone ever do that in the 1st Subharmonic passage. There is a very distinct difference between the 1st Subharmonic and 2nd Subharmonic passage, I’m pretty sure that 1:44 to 1:50 was a 2nd Subharmonic transition
Geoff doesn't do second subs. he goes down to B0 in normal subharmonics. a D1 is not difficult for him. not even C1 is very difficult. his many takes below C#1 are always because he wants them to have better tone down there, not because he has trouble reaching them. gotta remember, the man goes down to F#1 in chest, and has said anything down to a C#1 is pretty straight forward for him subharmonics wise. lower than that he needs many takes to get the right tone in them for them to sound good.

I love it when you add that special effect that only headphone users can experience. At around 1:23, that pan with the violin from left to right? I LOVE THAT. Then you have the drums come in and do it too. That is awesome. I’m never going to get used to that! There’s really no other way to listen to your music. You really have that “Midas touch” (James Bond Goldfinger reference, anybody?) when it comes to choosing which songs to cover and then you put your own twist on it but still keep it true to the original. Every song that you’ve covered has truly turned to solid gold. And your videos are just glorious. I love the costumes and the set in this one( I still want to know who made that throne😆) but I think that this is probably my favorite video that you’ve edited so far. I love the effects in this one with the transitions between the shots and the characters. The warp zooms are super cool. It gives the video an extra edgy feel (I’m getting into video editing myself cause I love to record myself while making computer art😅) Anyway, very cool video Geoff! Glad to be a small part of it😁

Thanks for another great cover Geoff. I remember first listening to Way Down the night before my graduation; jamming out to it really helped ease my nerves and prep me for the ceremony. Now, it's a week before fall classes start, and I got another Castellucci cover to blast during my last week of summer. I haven't seen GoT and don't know much about the costumes/plot, but this song still slaps and is already on my playlist. These songs always seem to come at the right time and have the right feel for whatever is going on.
This song, sung by you Sir Geoff, is music to my ears. Literally! I can hear every word! I have hearing loss too, much like your beautiful wife, wear hearing aids at my spry age of 45, get down about it, but and the baritone is so audible, I love it! Thank you

As much as I enjoyed the amazing vocals, as usual, I was especially happy to see you still have your wedding band on, because that kind of rare, refreshing reliability is also part of the reason your fans love you. It must be so difficult to be solid and steadfast when so many girls are fawning over you, which is unavoidable in that line of work, but I find your sincere family values really inspiring the way they kind of restore my belief in happy endings, so to speak.
