It’s entertainment, period. When Mr. Cockburn sat down to write this song, he was applying his art. He wasn’t trying to repair what you perceive are the problems of the world. Those things are left to the whiny folk who complain about the state of life yet take no action to improve it.
You may not realize but Bruce has hit a new high bar with O Sun O Moon, best album of his career, he might be paying the bills but he's deepening his craft as well. This guy was deep now he's deeper...
