Rest In Peace Joan lee without her there would be no marvel 😭
*Happy Birthday Stan Lee!*
Stan Lee is 92 years old today, so celebrate it by learning about his weirder first draft of the #FantasticFour !
Happy B-Day
YEAHHH! HAPPY BDAY!!!
I love this these video .please keep it up love see old comics .there is a lot of things I didn't know so thank you.PS. I have a singed hat by Stan Lee.I met Stan Lee at a seminar
Jesse Deneca Thanks, and that's awesome!
Jesse Deneca You have a ''Singed hat''? I think you mean signed hat.! LOL!! Singed means burned.
It's sad that we haven't seen an accurate version of this on the big screen yet
We have. It's called The Incredibles.
@@marveldcfan2477 they are not the same
I like that their early powers had limited use. I believe one of Marvel's best character developments is putting some humanity into their characters and not making truly god-like.
I like the costumes with the FF logo
also I had no idea that DC was disubusting Marvel comic's
Comic Taco Productions Honestly, that was one of the most mind-blowing things I discovered while researching this. Haha
I googled disubusting, and this video came up, that must be the worst typo ever lol.
Has there ever been a reason as to why the fantastic four got the powers that they got? Like why is Mr. Fantastic a stretchy man as opposed to some other power, or sue have some other ability instead of going invisible?
Super late reply but just for anybody wondering, Reed is calm, collected, he always goes through the motions, not even waiting to explain what he's doing, his body flows and bends like his mind. Sue Storm was quiet, shy, subtle, she had little to do in the early adventures (at least not as much like the rest) she was practically invisible all the time Johnny is hot headed and bold, Ben is Brash and and hard skinned, you get it yeah?
The first of the 2 fan 4 films staring Jesica Alba & Chris Evan's claimed in part the power's they developed where partially due to where on the ship/station they where when the radiation hit it. Sue being on the observation deck gained light bending powers while Johney the pilot gained flame powered due his being at the rocket controls ECT... though I will point out Johny & Ben have power overlap with Galactis's heralds Inferno & Granet Gohst, Film version of Doom also has a power set making him a mock off Silver surfer.
I read somewhere that the rays changed them due to their personalities
My thought...
F4 as the four elements.
Thing = Earth
Johnny = Fire
Sue = Air (unseen)
Reed = Water (Flows and changes shape)
Favourite member, hmm, Spiderman
don't you mean the bagtastic bag man
Nope, it's the FF (Future Foundation) Spider Man
*The Production History of the Fantastic Four!*
In 1961, Marvel debuted the Fantastic Four! However, the first two issues didn't have the team wearing costumes. Why was that? And when the costumes _did_ make their appearance, is it true that the team were supposed to wear masks? Sure. I'll add it to the list!
I know its been forever ago but would you talk about damian wayne's death.
payton borchardt Didn't Variant do a video on that? I could be wrong.
Another really cool post! Keep up the good work
Henry Anderson I really appreciate that, Henry! Thank you!
I would love to see lee's draft as a diffrent universe type of thing to show us how things could of been.
I prefer it when superheroes wear flashy costumes.
Same
Me Too!🙂🙃
IMO, it depends on the superhero n how they pull it off
Yea
don't we all?
It is always fascinating to learn the production side of comics! Thanks again, NerdSync!
Great job scott. Your presentation makes these old characters seem new. Keep up the good work.
I love that the original conception for their powers was so much closer to Venture Bros' parody of the FF. It wasn't just Ben who got shafted, they were ALL screwed by their powers. Learning neat stuff here.
This video and series turned me onto the channel. It is creative and different. Good work Scott!
My favorite Fantastic Four member is Bag-Man from when spiderman tried to join the team and they made him wear a paper bag to hide his secret identity.
Your awesome man, I love learning and watching your videos!!
Will check out your Paetron Page, I am absolutely loving your Videos - I have always quite enjoyed the comics, but never been a big collector like many ... So your videos are Frankly BRILLIANT! Obviously, fans will decide on how they think the canon should go... But it is AMAZING to see someone go to the trouble of serious research to try and put all the missing pieces together.
I am not in a good position, but if I can I will sign up! Keep up the fantastic work!
Great video, once again, keep up the good work! :)
Now I wanna see their masks!
Scott, I love your videos. I keep wanting to tell you how much I love your videos, but for some reason I feel like I need to add something else. In this case, I wanted to mention the first comic book I remember really affecting me. It was a "What If" starring the Fantastic Four. It was about how things went wrong, and they all ended up with horrific disaster powers. Reed had no bones, Sue was phasing out of existence entirely, Jonny was burning up any time he would flame on, and Ben... was pretty much the same. Maybe a little cragglier.
It's a good read, and it showed me that comics could be dark long before I got my hands on Sandman or Watchmen, or anything from Japan.
Anyway, thank you for being awesome. Watching you helps to ease my constant anxiety to a dull background hum.
Well done NerdSync Productions! I just found your channel and it looks and sounds great as well as informative, I am 55 and loved the Kirby /Lee era as this is where the foundation super heroes were created by that great team
Its also great that your keeping alive the correct info on all the great characters created so people know the truth about how they all began Keep up the great work. Nuff Said
I have the worst wifi and computer in the world! It literally takes me 25-30 mins to get through one episode but I love your channel too much to not keep coming back. Totally worth it =]
Bree Blair That's awesome! Thank you! And sorry for your internet issues. :(
Awesome video, Scott.
Anthony Viola Thanks, Anthony!
Congratulations on always seeming to find an original angle on stuff that I thought I knew by heart
***** since you talk about Fantastic Four, please talk about Metal Men which is very underrated team (I like Metal Men) and many see them as DC attempt to be like Marvel's Fantastic Four. Metal Men is basically Family and have adventure together which is almost similar to F4. btw great video :)
afifi hasan Y'know, I've been getting all sorts of requests for the Metal Men. I'm not sure why the sudden uptick in requests, but I guess I should start to really look into it!
***** I think Metal Men is great concept in superhero comics overall which DC never explore. Here is why
-Doctor Will Magnus task is to create a group of robots originally created as weapon to destroy human but in the end the robots itself become "human", have human personality and hang out with Doctor Will Magnus
-In many stories or movies you read or watch, when the robots created to benefits humans, it always end up the robots will betray humans and conquer entire world and destroy all human beings for example you can see that in Terminator movies, and even X-men Days of Future Past show how dangerous robot can be. But that is totally different with The Metal Men. All The Metal Men love human and want to be part of Human society. Want to be accepted
-You can relate to The Metal Men. Yes I say it, you can relate to Metal Men. All the Metal Men is want to be part of human society, that is kind like some people who just want to be accepted into some group or club but can't never join the group or club because perhaps not smart enough or or not cool enough, or not beautiful or not strong or not rich enough etc. In other words, The Metal Men can be consider as freaks, outsiders etc
-The Metal Men can be DC answer to Fantastic Four. Everybody know that Fantastic Four concept is based on family. They have adventure together. The same can be said with The Metal Men. They are all family and have adventure together
-Well technically Metal Men is Power Rangers before Power Rangers ever exist. You look at differrent variety colour of Metal Men. Yup it is kind resemble Power Rangers. All the Metal Men have different unique colour to them and people easily can recognise them
afifi hasan Like I said in this video, I don't normally like to do regular "origin story" and "history of" videos unless there's a twist. If I can find something that sparks a great video topic related to the Metal Men, I'm all over it! Thanks!
***** Metal Men certainly has "twist" to it. It is almost DC attempt to have similar feels of Fantastic Four.
it’s a team book rooted in slightly dubious comic book science where the members constantly bicker with each other and are led by a pipe-smoking scientist who is constantly frustrated by the advances of a platinum-haired woman getting in the way of his science. If this sounds like a familiar setup (fantastic four), there’s a pretty good reason for that
Just like Marv Wolfman New Teen Titans kind feels similar to Chris Claremont X-men. Speaking of the X-Men, I think it’s fair to say that that’s a franchise that owes a lot to the Legion of Superheroes, and not just because Dave Cockrum originally designed Nightcrawler and Colossus as Legionnaires before they were rejected and sent packing across town to Marvel, because alot of early X-men characters power similar to Legion.
***** Also another interesting video you can do is Captain Marvel controversy, Marvel-DC and the problem :) it will make interesting video
@NerdSync please also make your other video on Fantastic Four about Dr Doom . Your content is really interesting.
WOW , this is really interesting , i love these videos alot , the monster era was interesting and versatility in comics is fun . Fantastic Four is so UNDERRATED though
Love your channel! Just found it not too long ago but I've already caught up on all the past episodes. Haha keep up the great work.
SWADE WILSON ALL the episodes? Even the really terrible past episodes where I talk like a combination of Hank Green and Captain Kirk and make really lame jokes all the time?
Yup even those ones haha. It's really cool to see it all grow in such a short amount of time. I look forward to new ones every week now.
SWADE WILSON Thanks!
Showing weaknesses from characters makes them more human, and in that way, more relatable. That's why you and I like more the Fantastic Four with Fantastic Struggles that Stan Lee originally wanted, that's why there are a lot of people prefer Batman than Superman, why Superman's biggest problems come from his own mind than his power, and hell, that's also a reason why The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad are so famous! Strong characters are good, but if they have to deal with inner demons, rather than something that overpowers them, they are way more enjoyable for most of the audience :)
4thwallcrysis Very well said. Thank you for the great comment!
***** And thank you for the great video ;D
4thwallcrysis Any time!
Specifically Wednesdays. Haha
oh Finally!!! another episode!!! i havent really been following since unversities are back in action and to mention the 2 major assienments that are due tommorow which im not doing because im watching your episode...anyways my favorite FF member is Johnny Storm.basiclly cuz i like fire.and i dont have a favorite moments cuz i rarerly read FF comics in the first place.anyway great episode and looking forward to the next one.
***** Hey! Good to see you back in the comments! Good luck on those assignments. You don't want to end up like me and fail out of college. Haha
My favorite character is definitely the human torch. I just love the characters who have quirky/sarcastic senses of humor (probably why hawkeye is my fave avenger) the F4 kind of brought me into the marvel series (along with the hulk) or i should probably say the animated part since i haven't found a good way to get any comics as of right now. :P liked the video, and i kinda prefer my heroes in costume just because of the hilarious designs artists create trying to make the character stand out
Never realized that the FF wore street clothes on their first cover! I think this adds to the realism, if I can say that about comics, since they just got their powers how can they have costumes already? Nice comic info.
Derrell Chandler-Springer I know, right?! I've looked at that cover dozens of times, but I never noticed it until I started digging into the topic. And I definitely agree with the added realism point. I've redesigned the NerdSync logo over half a dozen times before what it is right now. Imagine how long it would take me to make a costume that I felt represented my newfound powers and superhero identity! Haha
I like how Spider-Man had a legit reason given for him to make a costume before making the whole 'hero' decision.
Sometimes they just grab them randomly, which I guess is what happened to Angel before he joined the X-men? he just grabbed a sheet and.. kinda looked like a traditional angel.
The appendix in which you try to get the people to comment, subscribe and so on is quite long. Nearly two minutes for a 9 minute video, maybe that could trimmed. Besides that great channel, thumbs up
eremias mesfun I think most of that was just because I was announcing the Patreon page.
the first concept sounds good except maybe for invisible woman, seeing them overcome limitations or pain could have been interesting
the thing was always my fave though, not many seem to remember he had a solo comic, but i actually have every issue of it
new to your channel, so still looking at vids, but if you haven't done it yet, i'd like to see another take on cities for marvel and dc, specifically how DC tends to use fictional cities (gotham netropolis etc) while marvel has real ones like new york
(i've always imagined marvel used real cities so people could more easily imagine it actually happening in "their town" but being canadian the american town may as well have been fictional anyway for how little they mattered to me)
Thanks for this vid. I thought I knew everything about the fantastic four but I was wrong. But if you do a vid on one super hero. Could you do it on the Invisible Woman? Most people don't understand her.😕😕
the original draft makes me think of Doom Patrol...
M Davenport Believe it or not, I actually made another video kind of about that. Haha. ua-cam.com/video/HWeMbKndAFc/v-deo.html
Beast Boy :D
I loved gambits costume where he had the full body suit and wore a trench coat over the top
Human torch is my fav, favorite moment is when he dies !! Ironic aye
Invisible Woman and Nathanial Richards are my favorites... and the Fan Four with Hulk, Wolverine, Spidey, and Ghost Rider... smiles.
Hey love your videos, just wanted to know if you could make a video about the new ff trailer and your opinion on it .
yo dude love the videos you are the man plus what do you think about spawn
TheGeorgespider12 I don't think I've gotten around to reading any Spawn. Do you have any suggestions?
***** The whole Spawn series was pretty cool. Forget that they ever made a movie about it. He had a wealth of amazing power, but had a limited supply. Each comic counted down what was left. I think limitations always make for a more interesting story.
same and the hbo tv show was so good
Good stuff! If that's the case, what about naked superheroes?
you have the best super hero related chanel on youtube!
Thanks
That helmet that the Thing wore? It made a comeback between issues #374-400 or so, when Ben was forced to wear the helmet while his face healed from Wolverine slashing it open in a rage! The "New Fantastic Four", a line-up of Wolverine, Spider-Man, the Hulk and (get this) GHOST RIDER, was put together again to bring in Johnny Storm! He had gone nova trying to fight a Skrull on the college campus, and burned it down. The police were after him, but Spidey wanted to bring him in, as a friend. Ben was having none of it! Great storyline! You should talk about them in an episode! :)
I'd say the real origin of the FF is that Jack Kirby was suddenly blacklisted at DC after a land dispute with an editor, just as Challengers of the Unknown was poised to become the second hit book of the Silver Age after Flash. As a bona fide fan of Kirby's work on the Challengers, I wonder what might have been had Jack Schiff not held grudges. On the other hand, it could be argued that this now-obscure DC editor's temper accidentally birthed the Marvel Age of comics!
My favorite is the thing. Ps love your videos
Can you include a video on the OTHER (or new) fantastic four (the one that has storm in it)?
the thing is described originally as "shapeless"; actually the first issue modified his appearance with every entrance. the round head with ears in the first issue's clothing store scene, his frog-like face after the rocket's original crash, and when battling the stone monster his head was oddly triangular. Like he was constantly restructuring.
I think a version of that original draft rendered in comic form would be pretty damn cool, kinda like that mini-series adaption of the original Star Wars script a while back. Until then I'm gonna go reread my copy of Marvel Masterworks F4 Vo.l 1
I would like to see that synopsis in its entirety. There are some who question whether Lee wrote it entirely by himself or after a discussion with Kirby ala Marvel Method. The idea of the FF going into space and coming back with super powers sounds a lot like the plot to a Challengers of The Unknown story ("The Menace of the Invincible Challenger" from issue #3 of that comic) where Ace Morgan returned from a similar, experimental space flight with powers like those of the FF!
That's why they call him Stan "the Man" Lee, Scott. Good vid.
Mr21Daytime Haha. Thanks!
I've seen a bunch of such shows and I've got to say, I don't think I've seen a more humble host in any of them. :)
Thenx for the info I rely appreciate things like that.
And as for your question: I belive that the changes ware all for the best. But Sue permanent invisibility and face mask are very intresting in a dark way.
My favorite moment with the FF is when Spiderman went to them to get the black symbiote removed. After getting it removed he realized he had no spare costume to go home in. So he borrows a spare FF costume (barefoot no less) and sticks a paper bag over his head and swings home... after Johnny smacks a "Kick me" sign on his back.
Funnily enough this look, at least the paper bag, would return when Spidey gets a million dollar bounty on his head and he's forced to go out as the Bombastic Bag Man to rescue some friends! With no web shooters, no shirt and some rather bright red pants.
The first Fantastic Four I bought was #5 which introduced Dr. Doom. All other 60's Marvel superhero comics - I own at least the first 20 issues.
I giggled when reading the note Sten Lee wrote in the original draft.
wow i'm full of 20 percent of my fantastic 4 knowledge now! but seriously i barely know anything of the fantastic four except for these 2 videos actually I haven't even watched any of the movies so my favorite moment is well I geuss I dont know but if you can make a video of the silver surfer that would be awsome especially because I CANT BEST HIS GAME NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRY!!!!! haha. but really i've been really interested in the silver surfer and would like to know more about him and what vetter time than right after this great great perfect fantastic four video!
Tay Boy Awesome! I'll try to squeeze in a Silver Surfer video. Maybe I should do another FF related video after that too so that there will be four Fantastic Four related videos. It practically markets itself! haha
***** yes keep on doing fantastic four i've heard alot of good stuff from it but wow i've never known one point in time marvel was owned by DC you should make a whole entire video about that i'll watch that 10 times a day if you make that
Haha. Well, they weren't owned by DC, they just distributed comics through Independent News which was owned by DC.
***** ah ok I see but still its still very cool that at one point DC had a bit more power than Marvelthorough distributing there comics
Reason FF book featured monsters is that monster stories/illustrations were probably backlogged and the FF fighting them was a way to use prepared materials. That is the reason for Monster Island, the Miracle Man's illusionary statue, the open mouthed lizard faced Skrulls, and Namor's Monstro.
Favorite member of Fantastic Four is Invisible Woman very issue is when they fight clones of themselves. It showed what they could really do, if they didn't hold back. It also showed that the Invisible Woman was the most dangerous off them all,
If you ever revisit FF I'd like you to tackle how the origin was retconned (or not) cuz I'm still confused about it to this day. At one point in the history of the team, it was revealed that Reed Richards may have either intentionally or unconsciously set up the group's exposure to cosmic rays in order to get special abilities. I thought that's what you meant by "real origin" but you never went there. Like the retcon of Flash's origin story which was later scrapped, this too seems to have been retconned back and forth or just swept under the rug, or maybe it's come back i dunno I haven't kept up. Still, would probably make for an interesting future video topic.
Zachs Mind That sounds really interesting. Do you know the specific issues where this happened? That would help me out a lot!
***** I don't know if they ever retconned it (again) but it was "Fantastic Four vs The X-Men" (1991).
*****
If I remember correctly, i believe it was also revisted/reworked at the beginning of J. Michael Straczynski's run starting with #527 where Reed helped send the cosmic rays back in time to hit their ship
Thing did end up wearing a metal helm/mask for a while similar to the one mentioned in this video. He wore it after he was disfigured by wolverine.
Why is this not the pitch for the FF movies? First film has them gain their powers but concentrate on them as a family thrown into the weird world of powers and becoming the public face of the super hero world, the end has the marriage of Reed and Sue and the first shot of their costumes. Second (or if by some miracle this was part of the MCU then maybe Avengers?) has them donning their costumes against some global threat, Sue realises she's pregnant and at the end they retire from super heroics while Reed joins a certain clandestine super heroics think tank... Basically allowing a slightly grittier take on the First Family without going grimdark, showing how super heroics isn't an ideal lifestyle for the nuclear family while still getting to have fun with it while playing on the superheroes as free agents against super heroes as government agents that seems to be working so well at the moment. All you need then is a bad ass Doctor Doom that doesn't look like he's made out of tin foil!
I remember playing F4 game for PC when i was young, me and my bro and our 2 friends (who were bros aswell) played it co-op on ONE KEYBOARD which was as you can assume a big mess :D i played Thing and loved him as youd just pummel trough, however when we came to DrDoom eventually, we didnt know how to do supernova so we (after lots of hours, and no internet or any help) quit the game all together...i still feel sad that we did and i tried to install it year ago just to finish it but couldnt get it running......sad sad sad....
Btw my fav is hard to choose between coolness of Johny and strength of Ben :D
Did you knew the human torch was a robot at first
No that was a totally different person there are 2 human torch
There were three Human Torches the second was called Toro and was sidekick to the first.
love the costumes.
I can't remember where I heard it, I think it was a documentary about Marvel or Stan Lee, but that the reason the first issue of FF featured a monster was because Stan and those at Marvel were nervous about making a superhero book and decided to hedge their bets. If people didn't like superheros they figured that they might still like monsters.
I don't have to wear normal clothes or costume as long as the comic is good.
My favorite member of the Fantastic Four besides Invisible Woman is She Hulk since she was a member of the Fantastic Four at one time.
Scott, can you do an episode on the Mortal Kombat comics?
my fav is the human torch
i remember hearing about a lot of this stuff in a documentary on netflix about stan lee's journey from start to where he is now. it was really inspiring. i dont entirely remember but wasnt the human torch actually seen long before the fantastic four back in the early stages of stan lee's comic days after the success of the original captain america comics?
Noreku Yes, there was an android who went by the name Human Torch. I'll have to do an episode on him sometime.
*****
that'd be awesome. i'd love to learn more about him :) also i will totally donate after achieving a few things. specifically an engagement ring and a new 3ds xD (pretty different items!)
Noreku No rush at all if you feel like donating. I'd say both of those things are definitely more important!
DC Owned Marvel at one point in time,Mind-Blown!!!!!
Lil ikr
+Eradakokiri I mean lol
They didn't own Marvel, exactly, they distributed Marvel's comics through their distribution system. And they put a lot of restrictions on things, especially how many books Marvel could put out. That's why so many books were double features, such as Tales to Astonish featuring Hulk and Sub-Mariner, and Tales of Suspense featuring both Captain America and Iron Man. You can tell when Marvel got a new distribution deal, because all the double-feature books split up into individual titles.
Please do a video on armless tigerman
You get so many subscribers each day.
Lionel Messi It's all because of people like you!
NerdSync can you check out my newest comic book video I uploaded today it’s a marvel milestone edition of tales of suspense #39 the first appearance of Iron man
Nice video, and do you have any good lex luthor vs superman comics, also when he is in the lex bot
Lionel Messi The recent Forever Evil story showcases some great Lex moments. There's also one fantastic story that I read a long time ago that I need to look up the name to that features probably my favorite insights into Lex. I'll look into it.
this was on my bday
Fun fact: In the original Fantastic Four comic, it shows they launched somewhere out of northern California. So, a bunch of people petitioned Marvel, and Marvel agreed, to make Stockton, CA the official birthplace of the FF. I have one of the signed documents proving it. My thanks to my cousin, Rick, for getting it for me.
nice hair! man
A What if? comic or maybe a group of villains for the FF would be cool.
The Invisible Man series from the 70s had Ducky (I think) permanently invisible with a latex mask and gloves. Then in the 80s Gilligan had a series pilot where he was uncle or something to an invisible woman who used make-up to make herself visible.
In the 90s, I was in a comic shop when some dumb kid noticed the Elongated Man mini-series and called it a rip off of Mr Fantastic.
Johnny Storm! :D
I must say favorite FF moment for me is definatly Hank Pym telling Reed Richards "Its on , bitch" and than going on a heist of Baxter building
I want to see an entire series about the exploits of an invisible woman having to live out her life wearing a creepy mask of her old face. That sounds amazing.
MajinTrunkz You heard it, Internet. Make this happen!
It really depends on the hero and what they are about. Costumes do help if you are trying to get into it but what if you are already a fan? If the hero is more about hiding and stuff then no costumes but if they are to be recognized then costumes would be cool.
The original script really does feel like Stan was trying to make a competitor of the Doom Patrol
I remember reading the original story of the Fantastic Four exactly as described here.
The one that confuses me is Thor. I seem to remember that he is a crippled doctor called Don Blake who finds a stick in a cave. When he hits the stick on the ground the stick changes into Mjolnir and he becomes Thor. Please make a video of that.
I also liked Doctor Strange but don't remember an origin story of him. Finally I remember Tony Stark receiving his shrapnel injury in Vietnam which was the conflict at the time of his origins.
Its just neat that average day guy/girl dressed up in jeans and a top, is actually a super hero. Plus we've gotten so used to the neon suits every hero wears, thus the more basic stuff is nice fresh air.
Also i kinda like the idea of the original draft being a building block. You could do a lot story wise with them trying to come into there powers.
Reed strengthening himself, making is pain endurance betters, thus letting him stretch better and better.
Johnny practicing so he can last longer than five minutes (giggity)
Maybe obscure Sue every chance till the radiation hits, and it becomes a big revel to see what she looks like.
and maybe the Thing becoming more awesome as he grows
Idk something to think about, or complain about, either or this day an age ( '.___.)
The Torch!!! IS EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!
Venture Bros episode, Ice Station - Impossible!, closely resembles Stan Lee's original plot.
My favorite fantastic four member is the thing and my favorite moment was when the thing and hulk fought
Hello. Can you tell us now about the new version of the FF
I was mad that I missed when it just came on you remind me of its super efective he is my seconded favorite
Erica McDonald Yeah, I've seen some of Super Effective's videos. Good stuff!
I Got a Marvel milestone edition of very iconic comics like the fantastic four #1 amazing Spider-Man #1 tales of suspense #39 and it’s amazing to have those comics
I personally love the fact that super heroes have costumes. They help define and shape the characters we grew up with. Now don't get me wrong, seeing ordinary people doing extraordinary feats is inspiring; however, Batman would never have been as amazing if it was just Bruce Wayne going around fighting a guy named Oswald Chesterfield or Jack Napier. Get my drift?
