- We have counted the Grunts in Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, ODST and Reach. But now that we are at the 343 Halo Era, who put more Grunts in their Halo games? Doe the Bungie Era of Halo Games have more Grunts than the 343 Halo Era? We decided to count every Grunt in Halo 4 and 5, and then tried to calculate how many Grunts Halo Infinite will have.

I think infinite is going to have the most grunts ever. Especially with the semi-open world model

Do elites that'd be interesting considering that they're a tougher enemy and the amount per level could be compared to overall level difficulty
Halo Reach, Pillar of Autumn. There are so many ultras. It needs to be divided by rank too.
How would Brutes fit into that, considering Halo 2 and Reach have levels that are entirely filled with Brutes, and Halo 3 is entirely Brutes instead of elite, but they’re also easier in that game for the most part?

@@Slender_Man_186 Well, all ally elites would count too, and Halo 3 does have ally elites in the second half.
I hope that Halo Infinite has a level where you fight at least a thousand grunts and hopefully some of those grunts will use swarm tactics.
You guys should do this for all covenant enemies. Maybe even forerunner and flood as well if it doesn't get too tricky. Hands down my favorite Halo channel!
Now that you've completed all of the mainline games maybe you could count other grunts such as halo wars, spartan ops and fireteam Raven
I don’t think halo wars can work sense technically an unlimited amount of grunts can spawn
@@collincampbell7508 you could count the amount of grunts in a usual campaign run, like they did with the the regret level in halo 2

Halo infinite being the massive project that it is, will most likely have a high number of grunts. Also there’s a high possibility that 343 will keep adding to the campaign with every major expansion, so the number of grunt’s would increase.
Counting grunts in infinite could be problematic seeing as how it’s an open world and you can go wherever you please. I’m sure enemies will respawn along the way so it comes down to how much exploration you do.

Hot take halo 4 and 5 grunt design were pretty good. Infinite mashing them together was a great idea. Put all of halo reach’s and halo 5’s grunts together.
3072 Grunts sounds like something you'd see in a mobile game called "Punt the Grunt" or something like that. I'd play it

Well When you think about it, The Covenant under Jul’Mdama likely stopped Forced Mass Grunt Breeding. As for the Banished I think they probably continued it but idk how the Banished works structures/society wise.

Did they account for halo ce random spawner. So on two betrayed on a bridge, going back a checkpoint, or walking back and having it load will spawn or change the spawned grunts. Even killing a room and going back for a second load. Will spawn the other grunts that could have loaded

Unlike Firefight, Spartan Ops has a story, and therefore, isn't an infinite Grunt spawner.
