Yannie, you are truly gifted with what you do.
I respect that you put the health of your client's hair before all else.
    So much respect.

I started growing my locs last September. I'm new to everything and since then I've received constant negativity. I've been told that I should remove it and that it won't last. After 2 months many uneducated souls just expected my starter locs to be fully formed. Honestly, even my new growth (because I don't retwist on a regular) has been viewed as problematic. After watching your videos for some time I've learned to appreciate my hair as it is and trust in the process. I'm almost 9 months into my journey and I'm hitting it with confidence. I even love how disrespectful my hair can be.
Thank you so much for your videos. It has changed my perspective on things ❤️

Just amazing, good work. Funny I've always felt bad to throw away my locs after i cut them, take off about 4-6" every year. As you say its so natural and organic to use your own locs i recognise this and saved them after the last cut.

How do u maintain locs by just letting it do it's own thing? My locs grow away from the loc should i just let it do what it do

Hi Yannie what should I do if a stylist trimmed my locs with clippers ? My locs are thinning & new growth is growing away from the locs, should I cut it off & start over ?

Ms Yannie, my hair has been in two strand twists for 2 months...My mom has done 1 retwist...she washed it and parted it differently...but that is not my issue...my hair has a soft texture and is more curly than kinky...my issue is i have twists that in the back that keep coming down in the back...the rest of my head is good...but twists in the back come down...I sleep with a stocking cap on at night...how do I keep the twists the back from coming down?

Your response does not help or answer my question...Why would you answer a question that wasn't addressed to you? I could see you answering if you had something helpful to say or even the answer to my question sadly you had neither.
