Thank you for this video, Yannie, and for repeating that we should be more concerned about the health of our scalp and our new growth. I needed this reminder. ❤❤❤
Thank you so much. You have done my hair about 3 times and I hope at least one more time. Now I know why you never attached my locs that fell off. I am throwing them away now. What a blessing you and your husband are. Thank you once again for this information.
Thank you sister Yannie. I just looked at my ends and noticed they were thinning but I was not too concerned. My concern is my thickness in my crown. I take Metformin and I believe that's what's causing my hair to lose its thickness. Not to mention I am 50 years of age and may be getting ready to go through Menopause. Can you recommend something that may help with thickness. I use minimal products. I take vitamins, drink plenty of water, but I do carry a high stress load which I'm trying to reduce.
Hi Yannie! The year is ending off and I wanna thank you for sharing these videos because they've educated me so much and I enjoy learning from you! One of my ends are thinning but thanks to you I'm not freaking out about it. Also before you snd Jimmy retire, can you share a video on how to carefully separate the roots from 'marrying' each other pls? ❤
Love this....scalp & new growth is the concern. Thank you ❣️ Looking foward to your next video. What do I wash my scalp with? Will also go back thru your older video's...TY
Hi Yannie, I recently heard this may be due to wearing the hair in a bun - and breaking at the point of the crease of the rubber band. I am inclined to believe this about my hair because I have never colored my hair - and because of where the breakage is happening.
I was just diagnosed with telogen effluvium after a period of illness. My long locs are thinning and popping off at the root. The doctor says it will resolve in a couple of months. I’m afraid I’ll lose all my hair by then. What can I do? I think the locs could be saved if my new growth was strong & thick enough to support a crochet or interlock at the root. Unfortunately, the roots are soft, thin, and the hair isn’t growing right now
Hi yanni Iam 10 monds in my lock jurny ,i locked my hair every 3 monds but it huts so bad when she doing it ,when she seperate my locks it huts and when shi locked may hair ,is she doing it wrong
I used to do that knot. Not anymore I just cut it.
Blessing to you sister! So good to see you back! Thank you!

Yannie, I hope you do write a book. We need the knowledge written down. I love all that I have learned from you! Peace and blessings
This! Your roots are the only living part of your hair so you must take care of it.

Yannie 🙏nice to hear from you....❤
Thank you blessings !
Lesson learned y'all, don't cut your loc in half vertically to make it thin lol
Was wondering what's the difference between comb coils and two strand twists/braids when starting locs 🤔. I now grow organically my locs.
Does the no products rule apply to all hair types? My hair gets really dry if I put nothing in it

You might want to completely leave your hair alone love. Twisting or interlocking your hair should be the last thing on your mind.
I definitely get it now, its like if you had a eye booger do wipe it away and then put it back in the corner of your eye 👁️ 😂
Yesssssssss. Exactly. Or a nose boogie. We never put the boogie back in our nose. Lol
Informative vid 👌, I dye the entire of my locs jet black every 6 months, is that safe for healthy locs ?
How can I combine two locks? I want my locks to be bigger.
I'll try my best to do a video about that
