Hi patrick, a little bit of feedback about the Cyfrin updraft platform, I'm pretty sure that you already have noted this, but I'll write it here in case you haven't.
1) sometimes when I click the back button of the browser I get 500 error (I'm using edge on windows 11)
2) I turn off the captions, but they are turned on again in the next video
3) when I select a resolution, it turns back to automatic for the next video
since the course is split in videos 3 or 4 minutes long, 2 and 3 can be annoying.

Why do people even use the evm with gas being such an issue. Why not use flair and the xrpl?
Stellar also has smart contracts with no gas problems
Why is there so much diversity? Some of us are still learning solidity in updraft when we get to know the news of the Rust language and we think we should go to learn the Rust way, and now Vyper, what is the best way to build the future? Will Solidity be unuseful?
Tech always has tradeoffs, and at the end of the day, different tools are good at different things.
If job security is your main concern, solidity will not lead you astray

Rust is great! But for writing EVM smart contracts, it doesn’t really make sense. But for Solana and arbitrum stylus, it makes a lot of sense.
So rust is just another tool that has its use cases
