depends on you for me more than a year and than i chose security researcher for web3 . Patrick is great teacher always learn from him and u must do a lots on your own when i say a lots i mean it . One of my friend works as pen testor and she was shocked I was able to learn this she told me only for smart people so the struggle is real and get ready to be motivated ask yourself why you are doing ? for me is money and stick to it each time you get lazy or crazy because the setting up is challenging plus i am solo so learn where to search and how to solve join groups of others online etc . Patrick is really good I did try others but somehow Patrick got into me easier to understand and learn faster but you will be doing a lots on your own so the choise is your. It great industry and new technology I love it but takes time and work especially for me as I came from non tech backgraound .
