Great video Patrick, It's so great to see you continually stepping up and demanding that we do better within the web3 space. We have a huge opportunity here to shape something incredible for our future, holding protocols accountable and demanding we as a collective community strive to do better is what this space needs.
Ps - Almost finished the Cyfrin Security Research course, it's truly incredible thank you again!
Thank you for thank you !!
Isn't he a gem :D he is the one
not only is he teaching web3 development for free, hes also built like a tank
Healthy body healthy mind!
Pat-tricks >>>> solidity-tricks
Well that’s clever
@@PatrickAlphaC Learned some sarcasm from you in the process 🥂😅
It's the first time I've seen Patrick Collins make an angry and fiery video because the safety of protocol users and investors is our paramount priority.
Off-camera i blew a fuse
"uwu' "EWWEEWW" "lend was hacked..." had me rofling xD
The starting man😂💀 dead lmao
already liked Patrick’s videos before he even thought of making them.
I know you have done a video on smart contract auditing but can you do another monstrosity like that on the top 10 smart contract vulnerability you have shown share your experience tips and some code walkthroughs and hacks
lol yeah this guy is the one :))
Perfect Analysis sire
Love this content a lot❤
Would love to see more like these since the explanations are so much better than the rekt articles.
Interesting, you liked a video like this?
@@PatrickAlphaC yes I did, and I'd like to see more videos with the latest hacks (the information tends to stick in a different way when watching a video like this instead of reading reck)
still waiting on that lifting course on cyfrin uplift
so the only way is to have money for the oracle? to have the price feed? i would like a video only on the price feed thanks as always you are the best
What do you mean? You’d like a video where you learn about price feeds? What aspect of them?
you shouldnt be appologizing for having to call thse dev out. if you code is trash you need to be set straight thats about it. people money is at stake here there no time for being nice. great vid and thanks for also being frustrated and making this video
@@web3simplified793 I want to find the balance - sometimes people just don’t know, and it’s hard to blame them for them. I also don’t like to say someone “should” know something.
But looking into this deeper, this dev in particular needs to step their shit up and know this is unacceptable.
We love to watch videos like this
Glad to hear it!
...patrick knows what he's doing here
❤❤❤
This video reminds me of how demoralizing having a decentralized and permissionless ecosystem is. No matter what happens, someone or some team is still going to deploy some project for a quick buck, because they can. And then a population of degenerate gamblers will flock it to make a quick buck, because they can. With all that attention and value at stake, a hacker will exploit it for a quick buck, because he can. And ultimately everyone in the industry's reputation gets tarnished regardless of their motives or how honorable their intentions are and how much effort they put into securing their protocols.
I'm not advocating to gatekeep with a permissioned network with vetted users and developers but... it feels like this is the reason why it seems like Chainlink seems more focused on the permissioned private networks (the banks) nowadays. They have the frameworks in place where people must be audited and be held accountable to prevent anything from going awry. We need some sort of framework for the decentralized world.
I think this sort of negligence needs to have legal repercussions.

You remember me so much one of my midlle school bestfriend that is hard to not like you :)

ahahhaah when your protocol contracta repo has two commits

Absolutely hacked

Uwu got attacked again for 3.75m by same attacker
The code is horrible so...
What is the point of wearing like that. Is that a new trend? Lately I see many examples of that. Guys this is not instagram. I recommend all in similar cases to show some respect to the audience. Simple example for you to understand, you never wear this when you go to an event/meetup if the event is not in a beach:) thanks for the video btw.
lol. My dude here is a fashion auditor. Sorry for not following your strict dress code.
This is like all bodybuilders dress,to look in mirror and jerk off
