Blacksmithing - Forging Fullers with
Вставка

- My friend Nils Ögren showed up and we decided to make a top and bottom fuller. We didn't plan much, instead we made design decisions along the way. These tools are primarily used when forging with a striker to isolate or set down a section of material.

I see a few "When I nod my head , you hit it" moments. Nice collaboration.
"I think that's enough" Then one more strike. Lol. Thanks Thunder Bear. Clean work 🍺
:)
Tools...!!! We can do nothing without the right tool. HalleluYah! Congratulations.
It's always a good day when you post a new video. Today is even better with a friend in your shop.
What is most important? Having fun doing what you enjoy.
Ура!!)))) Новое видео))) позалипаем так сказать с наслаждением🙂🙃🥳
You dont have to skip or FastTrack your jobs/work. Love to wacth every detail even the marking off. Very satisfying as always.
That was really fun! Thank you!
Loved it. Nice blooper at the very end was very funny

The show where the viewers click on the thumbs up - and then sit back and watch the show - and learn up
🙂🙂
Yes. Of course.
My god… I can’t get over how awesome that power hammer is…
I built a heavy sledgehammer on a treadle/pulley mechanism so I could put different hammerheads on the handle… but idk if I could get it to be as powerful as hydraulics.
I love the bloopers too 😂❤
This is just great to see two great blacksmiths. Forgein tools together. Great Team work. Awesome job. Great work. Very nice video today. Hopefully you both get great use out of them for many years to come my friends. Can't wait to see more videos soon from both of you. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Forge On. Fab On. Weld On. Keep forge Lit. Keep Making. God Bless.
I am sitting in the corner of the smithy, all cozy, and am just watching and listening to the sounds and I feel safe. Thank you both!
:) Good! :)
The forge fairy Allfather. (It's like a viking fairy godmother)
Another masterpiece of blacksmithing art!
Thank you mister Åhman!
Btw, thanks very much for translating. I really appreciate it.
Great to see you both working together, great to have the Swedish too, thanks for the subtitles though
5:14 - I got very excited when I thought he was going to make a magic fuller for twisting and cutting at the same time😂
Nice collaboration. Sometimes two hands aren't enough.
Thanks. Indeed, two hands are seldom enough!
I'm a sucker for languages, and getting to watch you two work while speaking your native tongue was a serious treat!
Cool! I bet my next video will suit you as well then!
love the comedy, very funny, always "A" grade work with beautiful design pairing perfectly with function. A true master craftsman here, take note......"This is what qualifies as a master in their trade.
Lovely work, gentlemen!

Nills looked so appaled at the suggestion of making the stamp not visible😂
😂
as an english watcher, your humor still translates for sure, good content here, but I still appreciate the subtitles though :)
Ha ha, great. Not sure it's that coherent though... but it is what it is :)
@@torbjornahman Howdy 🤠 Sir,. ( I'm ) Not to much on speaking English 😆 but I can assure you , y'all came in perfectly clear in Texan!

My favourite blacksmiths working together, great video,👍. Do you live in the same neighbourhood? Nice to see you cooperating together on a project, enjoyed hearing you communicate in Swedish as well. Looking forward to Nils dropping in for more videos. Regards from Down Under.
Cool, thanks! No, we live quite far away actually, but Nils has family not too far from me.
What a treat having two craftsmen working together! 👍👍
Very cozy workshop! Greetings from Ukraine!
Brilliant as usual 😃
That was epic collaboration work.
One thing I learned from my father, is to grind off mushrooming steel from the chisel head, or it might send out peices of steel at high velocity, hitting your body. At least 150..200 m/s. A hit in the eye might devastade your eye.
Yes, definitely good advice!
That was brilliant, thankyou both, lots of laughs!
Thanks
I love the collaboration with Nils. Great content and enjoyable to watch.
Thanks Tony!!
i love doing stuff!! this was great 😃
😃
Could you please make your videos longer, I always look forward to new ones, but they're never long enough, I always learn something new every time I watch one of your videos, thanks.
It's cool to see you guys working together!
T & N= de två trollsmederna!⚒
What is better than a blacksmith,.? Two blacksmiths 😊
The master and his apprentice
I wouldn't say that, ha ha. We are both apprentices, at least compared to the real masters :) :)
Great video as always, and great craftsmanship! If I had to buy one of the tools you make I wouldn't use it: I would exhibit it as a work of art, I'm not kidding! You are a MASTER !!!
Thanks!
😁😁😁 As usual, great execution.
Super cool to watch you two work together!
Teamwork is Dreamwork. Nice collaboration, terrific fun and excellent videography. Fullers are fantastic and work a treat. Thank you Both for the fun ride! ~PJ

Two of my favorite youtube smiths!
Great to see you two working together!
С большим уважением давно смотрю твои работы!
Nicely done!
Loved it! Apart from the metalworking, what i liked most on this video is that with the modern machinery some crafts are one man show. But this video, remind us that forging as many crafts its a work of two or more people working in full harmony (parallel hammer hitting like Damascus foundries). A master and apprentice, an ancient idea, worked for thousands of years, in most of the crafts. We are trying to erease dependence on other people when people are all we need. But alas, when technology goes dark, the old ways come up. The old ways, never die, they remind us we once as spieces crawled before we walked. You didn't made collaboration, you made poetry for anyone who can understand. Thank you!
Thank you so much. Yes I guess you're right, and it's sad.
Thanks for the Video!! Need more Please 👍👍
I always love Thunder Bear's magic tricks ... and conjuring Nils, and having the camera pan up from his shoes, was hysterical and highly welcome icing on the cake (cuz I subscribe to both channels). 😊👍
N00B QUESTION (2:07): Given the risk of sticking, would it make sense to use a graphite based release dab, when using the swage block, or would that just make a mess ?
Ha ha, good!
@@torbjornahman I dont know why I felt the sudden urge to share this, but my late maternal great grandfather was a blacksmith before, and during, the American Civil War in the 1860's (union side). His son (my maternal grandfather] went on to become the lead engineer/salesman for a major explosives company, served in WWI as a demolition/explosives specialist, and later helped coordinate blasting for the great Delaware Water Gap (google it). I guess fire and steel are in the blood. 😁
Cool!
