It's wonderful, I did not think that there is still people who knew work like at the time or I was starting my apprenticeship 56 years ago. Simply thank you, I just spent 4 hours you watching me marvel at your skill!
As always, nice looking work, and by the look of it two years has passed and another 200,000 subscribers. I always enjoy seeing your working with your children, they have a great father.
Thunder Bear, it is my considered opinion that you are in fact a very clever person. I never get tired of your videos. There is a unique balance to them that I find both peaceful and satisfying. Hope you and yours are well and safe.
Nothing more satisfying than using a quality handmade tool. Especially when forged by oneself. Well done and congratulations on your award for 100,000 subscribers. Thank you.
I like the way you riveted these tongs together, instead of using bolts. I have been teaching my students the basics of using solid rivets. Congratulations on your achievement. !00,000 subscribers.
I've been a knifemaker for over 40 years and I think that show "Forged in Fire" is the biggest joke I've ever seen. Those people that come on that show are supposed to be experienced "Blade Smiths"? The blades they come up with are ridiculous. I wouldn't dare sell anything that they make. Terrible, terrible amateurs.
Absolutely wonderful craftsmanship. It's great to see you doing regular chores with the little one. And congratulations on the well deserved Silver Play Button.
Another beautiful work.......that young chap is very lucky to have a master smith to learn off and no doubt he will be another gifted talent. Good luck to him. Congratulations on the 100k award Torbjorn. Keep her lit.
Congratulation's young man well deserved I am real glad I was part of something worth while, I fully expect to see the young one there with Hammer in hand some day
I just finished making a pair of these tongs a few days ago. I am very pleased with them and your video was very helpful. I am I'working without a power hammer (but someday soon!!) and so I did some procedures differently, but seeing your work was the key to showing me how to proceed. I'm not a knife maker, actually a friend gave me a bucket full of horseshoes, and I'm trying to figure out what all I might do with them. Now I can hold them very nicely! Thanks!
That's great!! My intention has never been to make a how-to video, but to inspire people to make something of their own. With blacksmithing there is so many ways to reach the same goal and there is probably no wrong way.
You have some amazing skill man! The off set you put in those tongs.......That's some serious fore thought. That would have been round two for me. thanks for posting and sharing your skills.............................Simply amazing!
I'm truck driver I work 14 hours a day and this guy videos are my relaxation every night at bed time I recommend his videos for anybody whit stress , 😂😂😂😂👍👍👍
I was wondering about the offset, until you passed the stock through the jaws and above the rivet. Then, I said, “Aha, that makes perfect sense.” Nice job and I enjoy your videos. Congrats on the play button.
a teacher of blacksmithing is a blacksmith you can have one with out the other I know you had a cool comment in mined but this want it . lol it just didn't make any sense.
What is it ? This is the second comment criticizing another commentator because they are expressing themselves in their non native language. Can't you people give them a break , or are you so ignorant and egocentric that you can't get the jist of what they're trying to say and leave it at that !
Very nice work..as always! It is nice to have such a good blacksmith that doesn't feel the need to explain everything..nice to just be able to sit back and watch some good forging!
Merci pour toutes ces vidéos .Une grande maitrise du métier et néanmoins une grande générosité pour partager ce savoir avec es néophytes comme nous .Chapeau bas !! Et encore mille fois merci
You Have Inspired Me To Start Blacksmith forging! Thank You For Making These Epic UA-cam Videos! Everything You Make Is A Functional Piece of Art!!! My Wife & Kids Appreciate That You Have Lit A Fire 🔥 In My Soul For Forging!!!
Beautifully made. I've been wanting a pair of these for a few years now, still not sure why I haven't just bought a pair yet lol. Thanks for sharing and congrats on the 100 thousand!
A very nicely made set of tongs, the offset makes them very useful, well done. A belated congratulations on the award, no doubt well deserved, the quality of your video production rivals your skills at the anvil. Regards from “down under “.
Wow! Those are the best knife forging tongs I have ever seen. Totally blew my mind. I really believe the off set jaws can help out in som tricky forging situations. I think I will make these pair of tongs for myself the next time I am at my own forge.
Excellent video. Super job of planning and execution. Masterful control of your work. Just subscribed and glad to see you were recognized for having such a large base of followers.
Really fantastic work. Both building the channel and the tongs. I know this is old, but slowly working my way through blacksmithing videos. For the leaves, you can put them in a 55 gal garbage can, and use a string line trimmer ar the bottom of the can. It chops up the leaves and makes smaller pieces that blow around less, and break down faster.
ditt hantverk är enastående! en lugn och fridfull video med underbara ljud och toppen tips!! fortsätt såhär så är jag (och 142000 andra) väldigt tacksamma! GRATTIS!
Astonishing...this was your 100K plaque... although I watched this when it came out, I'm needing to forge a pair of these tongs now...and you've got 646K!!!!! Well deserved!

I too like the silence in these videos. They are almost meditative at times, and beautiful to watch.
Thanks
Best looking tongs on the UA-camr! I like the transition from the boss to the reins. I always forge that a little more than I like.
Congratulations T.A. You very well deserve the recognition. Outstanding work as always 👍

Thanks
Holy crap man that is one of the most beautiful anvils I've ever seen !!!!!
I was confused about why you would need the offset the entire time, and was so glad you demonstrated the reason for it at the end.
Good! Thanks
You have some amazing skill man! The off set you put in those tongs.......That's some serious fore thought. That would have been round two for me. thanks for posting and sharing your skills.............................Simply amazing!
Thanks!!

Yura that doesn't make any sense.
Amazing work and video. Love your style, thanks for sharing!
Ops, wrong comment 😂
Sounds like Yura is saying that not only does he make wonderful things, but the tools he makes to create these items are wonderful too. And I agree.
I feel so ashamed. My knowledge of English is so bad. I can not express my admiration normally. Excuse me. Sorry one more time.
Great craftsmanship and a pleasure to watch. Very cathartic!
