At 1m 35 seconds I love his comment that “there’s no one coming” as if that excuses his behaviour, just as a cyclist comes into the picture riding straight towards him! Great timing.
@@joes6088 Yes, good comment and of course I have concerns - it's wrong, and they shouldn't do it. There are several reasons why I don't deal with them: 1) By far the most danger comes from the car drivers doing this, not only because of their size and mass, but also because of the speed and carelessness which many drivers go through here. In contrast most motorcyclists and cyclists are much more careful when doing this. Two wheelers have skin in the game, drivers do not. 2) I have limited spare time, and I'm not going to spend all of it doing this. That means I'll focus on the most dangerous, being the drivers. My choice. 3) I don't feel able to stop cyclists or motorcyclists doing this as if they fell off because of me stopping them I'd be on very dodgy moral and legal grounds. 4) Whilst I can report the motorcyclists who do this, I tend only to report the few who do it dangerously. I obviously can't report the cyclists, so all I do is occasionally scold them from the corner. 5) The Royal Parks police do much the same - rarely stopping cyclists and motorcyclists, and often stopping the drivers when they stake out this junction. That's a good sense check that I'm doing the right thing. 6) If you want to come down and stop cyclists, feel free to do so yourself. 7) It's classic whataboutery to complain about a different thing when I'm dealing with drivers. This is a copy and paste message.

@@RS-xq6jeI understand why Mikey is doing this. I’ve watched hundreds of his videos of people thinking this junction is free game. It’ll end up the death of someone.
The problem is, if this junction (Gandalf corner in case you were wondering) was policed, the public would moan. If there was a traffic camera installed, the public would moan. Yet, add in several casualties at this junction and the public wouldn’t batter an eye lid.
But the public would still moan that this junction is policed as it inconveniences their day by 5-10 minutes. Yet they couldn’t leave their homes 5-10 minutes earlier to beat the traffic.
He (Mikey) catches double figures every day that he policies this corner himself. Often those he does catch, not only traverse the junction illegally but they’re often on their fucking phones. ... And I think to myself what a wonderful world...
Thank you CyclingMickey for doing what you're doing!
Can't stop looking at the very clear dent in his bonnet that wasn't there before he tried to drive into you. I really hope this is a company car and he has to try and explain what he's done.
Why would you be proud about damaging someone’s property

You are not a cop. You have no right to restrict anothers movement like that. You should have been charged with kidnapping.
His legal route was never blocked. Also your comment is so crazy it makes me wonder if you're a crackhead.
The sheer entitlement he displayed even to two officers when he is clearly on the wrong side of the road is baffling and little scary. Can't argue reason with someone so adamantly against any personal responsibility or humility, matter of time until his stunts get someone hurt, and will he even learn then?
Sociopathic. Absolutely no sense of the needs of others, let alone that his might not be as important as those of others (safety, well-being).
He's on the wrong planet.
Just a typical arrogany chav who thinks hes a big man cos he has a 20k merc on finance but still lives in mummies baesment.
He has a Benz...That means the road belongs to him.

Fairly certain that he isn't a chav, definitely has money.
He's probably self entitled because he's been born with a silver spoon up his anoos.
Either that or he's middle or upper middle class
@@WhoThisMonkey Chav is about attitude. Most stock brokers are chavs. You can still be a chav and have money, look at katie price... Queen of the chavs.
Its these rich chavs that their subjects idolise 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I think this corner may become one of London's new tourist attractions if you continue your driver education program here. You've got some balls, bike Gandalf, I'll say that for you!
Can they put bleachers behind the hedge there so everyone can suddenly pop up and laugh when he catches a motorist?
:- ]
Strohmann That's a damn good idea, I wonder if there's a business opportunity for a popcorn stand here ;-)
While these drivers are asses, are you literally just waiting around for them to do this? Also why hide the reg when you just rattle it off in the video anyway.
He obviously just waited until the offending driver was finished with the police. Nothing unusual about him wanting to wait until the issue was concluded.
It's a legal matter. In europe it's forbidden to show license plates... but I guess there's no law for speaking out random letters and numbers ;-)
Edit: Show license plates without consent of the owner of course.
@@helenaville5939 Watch the beginning of the video, he waited behind the hedge/corner for someone to use the wrong lane.
I bet he also likes to go around and report people for parking violations...
Well... don’t be an ass and endanger others just for your own benefit. Driving on the wrong side of the road on a corner you can’t look around? How stupid can someone be.
If you guys would have paid attention it’s happening there pretty often... so nothing wrong with letting people pay for their misbehaving. Nobody is forced to be unlawful!
We as a society decided to make the rules, so if you’re somebody wanting to be a part of it you have to follow those rules. If not? You have to at least be punished for not following the rule.
One day karma may be reciprocated. If someone stands by a red traffic light, then jumps out on him going through it!
Well done to the people who witnesses. Shame on the cyclists who didn't bother.
Love how calm you stayed. Made the other one look even more like a muppet than he already was acting. Great job.
Another hardened criminal dealt with by the Batman of cyclists 😂😂😂
Finally. A cop in the right place at the right time.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
@ stupid arigant people always think that. 🤣
Just made him self look as stupid as he is.
At 1m 35 seconds I love his comment that “there’s no one coming” as if that excuses his behaviour, just as a cyclist comes into the picture riding straight towards him! Great timing.
"I've got to get to work!", then maybe don't drive on the wrong side of the road?
A better tip would be to simply leave a few minutes earlier, which shouldn't be hard to do, LOL.
No problem with the cyclist being on the wrong side of the road I notice...
@@joes6088 Yes, good comment and of course I have concerns - it's wrong, and they shouldn't do it. There are several reasons why I don't deal with them:
1) By far the most danger comes from the car drivers doing this, not only because of their size and mass, but also because of the speed and carelessness which many drivers go through here.
Chapeau again. Wouldn't dream of doing this on the roads I ride or you'd be sprayed across the bonnet without so much as a second thought. Your composure in these situations is astounding.
"I have a Mercedes, get off of my road."
They're everywhere.
