You are more than a great teacher. Than you for the very clear tatting instructions . It's my first time to get the shuttle tatting perfect after many many trials. Thanks again
I am so happy it finally clicked and I could help you in your journey. Happy Tatting and Keep on going there is so much more you can do and have fun with.
Hi Tricia. I now teach The Online Tatting Class on UA-cam. Georgia has retired and handed the reigns off to me. We would love to have you join us because that is where you get the pattern instructions. We are on hiatus for summer break and will return for full time classes in September. I will be holding over the summer some special classes. The only way to find out about those is to be enrolled. Just send an email to theonlinetattingclass@gmail.com and we will get you going. Happy Tatting
I have been ok at needle tatting for a while. I have been trying soo hard to shuttle tat since this is what I originally wanted to do after finding my Grandma's shuttle. Even tho its been harder because of my tremors in my hands. It has also been hard just because of little things like this. You actually take time to go slow and talk it through. Most other channels don't. If I can't figure something out, you are the first place I come to look! Thank you so much :) May I suggest you put a vid up on how to add beads? I have been finding patterns where beads are in all sorts of places and instead of fighting it. I am just counting how many I need total and putting that on the ball thread and shuttle lol. Most videos are just doing a very generic with 1 bead or something like that. Not explaining it enough.
Your so welcome. Thank you for the wonderful comments. I have plans to do that but life has gotten in the way of things. I hope to get some videos up over the summer this year. Beads being one of those videos. If your subscribed to the channel it should notify you of any new releases I can manage to get out. I am sorry in the delays for doing the videos. The past couple years has been hard on me with real life. However it is getting better so hopefully not much longer then New Vids. Until then Happy Tatting
I have # 10 thread and am not pulling right but my stitches don’t look as nice and even as yours, but I’m following your videos and learning.. yours look so much larger than mine, maybe I didn’t buy # 10 after all
Where can I get more information regarding the “post the ring" and then close as demonstrated before closing the ring? I’ve searched and can’t find anything about when or why this is done.
hi, the post the shuttle is a trick to avoid the ring from twisting, frilling, Georgia tells about it on this video: ua-cam.com/video/Pmc4eWsX2A0/v-deo.html

After joining the picot, i see that you didn’t do the secon half of the ds.
It is your personal choice to do the 2nd half of the ds or not. It isn't required. Happy Tatting
