You're amazing! And you just saved my fingers! I HATE sewing in ends. Thank you so very much for all the videos you make, but especially this one!

+thepinkaholicprepper You are very welcome. I am so happy I could help. I am like you I hate sewing in ends. To me I think it distorts the tatting to the point of noticeable and the floss threaders work so well at hiding them easily. If you have any questions please ask. I am always here to help. Happy Tatting

Are you sticking the tail through both the front and the back of the flipped stitch, depending on which half you’re on?

Thank you, learned how to tat 30+ yrs ago from a library book. If they showed this, I missed it. The threader I found online were finer and Very hard to see.

Your Welcome Bonnie. I get my threaders at Walmarts and also most drug stores. The gum floss threaders are a bit thicker than the other brands but they also cost a few cents more. But I think they are worth the few extra coin as they last longer. Also you could use leftover thread. I use a thread that is one size smaller so it doesn't distort things. I hope that helps you. Happy Tatting

Hi Trina. I have arthristis in both hands. I find that moving them in a more natural state before I begin to tat helps. Happy Tatting

I am trying to tat the Split Ring Rosary by Jeannie Lugert and I am trying to find a tutorial on how to do the MT8-MT8/8 and I can't find anything that shows me what to do...HELP

This is the explaination given for this by Georgia Seitz. SR:MT8-MT8/8 CL (you want the loops of the MTs to come together at the picot on the SH1 side of the split ring, meaning that the first one will be inserted loop first and the second one will be inserted ends first ) Tuck the ends of the MT's into their respective loops and snug up so that the threads will stay in place and out of the way until you are finished. What this means is the loop of the floss threader or magic thread will face one direction on one side and the opposite direction on the other side so that the thread will come up both sides of the split ring. Hope that helps. Happy Tatting

Did she say "jihad" around 9:12? Like...kinda weird if you're using an Arabic term for a holy war in a tatting video, yeah?

Michael No I did not say Jihad. What I said what g-hawed. It is a slang term in the south for things getting twisted up or turned wrong. This channel is all about how to tat nothing more. No religious meaning at all.
