"Posting my Shuttle" was one the best "hints". Just wish I had heard of this before. Wow, really is nice, thanks

Thanks for this video - very helpful. I have a question as a new tatter - Using a ball and shuttle - can you take me through the steps to load my shuttle and join my new thread. I have cut my shuttle thread and I have cut both ball and shuttle so I can rewind my shuttle. I am very confused about this process.

you make so good video. I love it so much. I have some question about how long picot will be. Because, I have tried to make a dolk. The center is so good, but the second round isn't enough to join a circle . It seens to be picot length too short for that. How can I know the picot length. The pattern is diagram. It doesn't written how long for the picot. Thx.

Hi and thank you for watching. Most patterns don't mention the length of the picot. When making doilies I tend to guage the picot based on if it is a joining picot or not. If it is a joining picot my go to length when using the guage is 1/8th inch. Then if it begins to pucker as I am tatting I will gradually increase the size as I am going around. Minute increases are not as noticable. However if you are going to put it in for show you need to make sure the picots are the same throughout. So always err to the larger picot rather than the smaller ones in that instance. With practice you will be able to see how you can make the picots even and stitches even throughout. I hope this helps you. Thank you again and Happy Tatting

Hello, Georgia! Just wondering if you'd have a model of that picot gauge in your site. Thanx!

Hi Lillian first of all let me tell you I am not Georgia. She runs the classes. I just do the videos for her. My name is Tamie. That picot gauge is a Handy Hands picot gauge. Best thing I ever bought. You can use it many ways in tatting. Hope that helps. Happy Tatting
