I hope Hiya does make the larval form of Mothra that would be great since Neca kind of dropped the ball. Heck, they showed it for crying out loud.
As much as I want a mothra larva I don’t want to pay 50 dollars on a small larva 😅
@@godzillakong6597 Well you could ask a customizer to make you one, but those would probably cost you almost $100.
Hopefully they include one with this new mothra model for Godzilla x Kong new empire if and when they start making figures for the movie

Still happy with the NECA but really digging the little bit of blue brushing they used on the wings here. Gotta say, Hiya is definitely a contender here with Mothra, then again they didn't really have much in terms of competition. The price kinda kills it for me though, rather go with Rodan.
You showed the best way of using the stand with Mothra, so that it would not fall down. I watched your video and followed your way and this is the only way I could secure my Mothra firmly in place with the supplied stand.
It's unfortunate that the Hiya Mothra and Rodan didn't come with accessories to justify being the same price as Godzilla and Kong, but still this figure looks great. I sold my Hiya Kong not long after getting it, because it's a pretty bad figure, but this Mothra just looks fantastic and I really love the incorporation of the blue into the paint application.
Yeah, I sold my whole S.H monsterarts legendary collection to make room for hyia's but only kept Kong(because I find it the superior figure) and Mecha G
You know what will be awesome? seeing a figure fight between Hiya, NECA, and SH Monsterarts

No toy company got her accurate face from the movie :( She still looks good though.
I really like this Mothra. The sculpture and paint are excellent. I just wish the arms and legs felt a bit sturdier. I get nervous when I move them around. Also are you gonna do a figure fight between the Hiyas and SH figures? It would be cool if you did.

OK I might be picking this up. It's kinda funny I originally plan on getting only godzilla, and ghidorah but after watching some reviews I decided to get rodan witch I am glade I got. I have no plans to get kong (I kinda like the neca kong better and it go well with hyia godzilla) or mechagodzilla (since I am good with bootleg monster arts) . Hope hyia will do more monster besides the monsterverse

Just one question. I am a very VERY big noobie to collecting, With the Hiya godzilla figures. When it says preorder in main land china. Does that mean that if I buy it it comes from China, or can I only buy it if I'm in china?
Honestly, it's just the Neca Mothra with a better paint job.
This figure works amazingly as a statue, but as an action figure? Well, it’s to the say least, it’s eh, like I wish it had bendywire wings like rodan, and I get the material used for the wings is one of the reason, but come on, if this just had bendywire wings, it would’ve seriously been the best 2019 mothra figure, but it lacks a bit behind the neca version, it’s easily better than monsterarts though.
@@Patrick485-0 bendywire is super controversial in figures. Tends to go bad over time with the plastic

@@StevensToyReviews Yeah, I know. I have some Tamashii stands. The problem though is that she’s so small the grapple part can’t close tight enough. Unless do you know if they have small support grapple parts for her? Cause I couldn’t find any when I searched.

Hello steven, i was wondering are these hiya godzilla figures worth the price? I mean, hiya is basically sh monsterarts but more detailed and low priced.. just wondering, are the parts not loose or anything? I'm just wondering because i wanna buy one of these figures because they look sick! Thanks!
I can only refer you back to my videos on their quality. I go over them to help you decide. Production units vary from unit to unit, so you could get one like mine, you might not.
Steven has made videos on all figures so go watch them and then make a conclusion.
