The thing about the Rodan fight that many people misunderstand (or I may have assumed) is that you have got to remember that Rodan is a reckless titan whose loyalty lies only to the strongest. Mothra being the benevolent titan she is realized this and is held back in fighting Rodan as she knows Rodan is only blinded by this so-called "loyalty". It is clearly evident how Mothra used as few attacks as possible and you can see how she was only pushing Rodan away, only dealing a blow when her life is in great danger. She only used her stinger as a last resort as she is running out of time and she needed to get to the G-man immediately to aid him
nuh uh because rodan is a fire flying type and mothra is a bug flying type and fire is super effective against bug so mothea was struggling edit: lmao yall are so serious its funny
What did you think of this battle? So for those who will bring up the Muto’s echolocation.. here’s a fun fact. Hairy moths use “noise-cancelling” scales on their bodies to avoid being detected by predators, scientists have found. These hair-like growths can absorb “as much as 85 per cent of the incoming sound energy from bats”, acting as a type of “biological stealth coating”
With how long Mothra has been around, I’d assume she’s already faced mutos in her multiple lifetimes. Unless Barb, the queen muto, has faced any of those incarnations during her life then she’s going into the fight with no knowledge of how to fight her opponent. Also, imagine how effective the god rays would be against Camazotz.
@@dropped_the_soap But Camazotz is sensitive to light, that's why it had to cover Skull Island with a storm before emerging from the Hollow Earth. Idk why it's sensitive to light, but it is. It's not confirmed whether it's specifically sunlight, or light in general tho.
Greatly researched and surprising result, throughout this fights analysis I was convinced the Queen Muto would have the edge in this fight due to being an absolute tank but that's what happens when u underestimate the power of a netting that can immobilise opponents and make them enormously disadvantaged. It's like when a spider gets caught in its own webbing (Yes that can happen they're not immune to their own webs) the spider will most like die
@@arno7163 These are Mutos mate, not spiders. Plus, only a handful of spider species have that characteristic to them and even if the Mutos have it, its practically useless since they need to use their limbs to help coat themselves with it and I don't remember those large limbs being able to move 360° in any direction without it snapping off
Small ,fast ,can completely blind the opponent, and she stopped fearing death because she learned that she’s basically bug Jesus. I agree mothras un beatable even if you kill her she’s coming back with the knowledge you gave it in the last fight
She probably wouldn't have the knowledge from her last fight tho. The egg was laid before the fight. If her memories are genetic, then her egg wouldn't have them.
@@bable6314 but in that case, she wouldn't really have much memories at all would she? I mean, I kind of thought of it as all the memories are transferred when Mothra dies, I might be wrong tho.
For the overall Strength, I just rewatched the movie and noticed that Mothra manaaged to tackle Rodan to the ground. (This was seen when Madison was running while they were fighting around)
@@BoroPhil even then she was able to match Rodan’s brute force. She didn’t experience too much pushback. The only time she was overpowered was when she was thrown against the tower
There is one small detail I think was forgotten in this video. Mothra's previous incarnations have likely engaged with a Muto before at the side of Godzilla or one of its ancestors given the Muto's primary prey and the symbiotic relationship that Mothra and Godzilla share. So, there is a pretty good chance it has prior experience fighting with the species.
@@frostedtheblob2882 Based on what we know, Godzilla species were dominant on both sides, since they survived every war, not saying Mothra had no play in it, but she wasn't the pivotal point or main reason they survived, that's pushing it a little too far.
I'll always be rooting for Mothra. Hail to the Queen! By the way Goji Center, I think you guys forgot to add the Scorpius vs Indo video to your face off playlist.
Another important factor that wouldn't apply to this one-on-one simulation, but would be a guaranteed factor in an actual fight: Mothra would absolutely call for help and summon Godzilla to her location. The two are a symbiotic pair and I highly doubt she would refuse aid from her partner. Between Mothra and Godzilla, plus the fact that Mothra can apparently help activate Godzilla's Burning Form, the Queen Muto would be extremely dead.
I'm actually shocked mothra came out as the winner, I was rooting for her too. But I also want to mention that she wasn't getting rag-dolled by Rodan as badly as it appeared. She actually body-slammed Rodan and stab into his back with her claws multiple times. But great video nonetheless.
Rodan could also fly though, the Queen Muto cannot. The flight and stinger of desert wasps make them easily capable of killing desert tarantulas (something which "Wild Wild West" points out btw). Tarantulas are actually not considered very dangerous because it takes time and effort to lift their fangs into a position that they can bite most animals. That time is the difference between victory and defeat.
7:23 it is true mothra is shown to be very weak in the battle with Rodan however there is one scene where it’s a quick shot of mothra slamming rodan into the ground while on top of him showing how she may be weak but she definitely has some strength
@@kremit_wick9372 i honestly expected her to die in kotm knowing wthat gidorah was involved her and the G man have a symbiotic telationship they both protect the planet so she uses her ability to give the Gman her life essence when she dies when someone like him shows up
Goji Center's warning at the end of this video is completely true. The day this video was uploaded, Rodan showed up in my neighborhood and leveled the entire place. Mine was the only house left untouched, likely because I'd been the only one subscribed to the channel. 6 months later and the other houses still aren't rebuilt yet. Mainly because the whole place is a giant smoking crater.
Not a funny jo-hell nah where Dat subscribe button NOOONONONONONONONOOOOOOO MY HOUSE!!!!!!!! Ever since I have lived as a man subscribed to GojiCenter (and in an R.V. to leave Rodan tf alone).
Well, I’m actually surprised by the result, as I thought based on the analysis that the Queen Muto would’ve won. There’s a reason Mothra is the reigning queen of the monsters, and I’m glad to see why. I’d also like to point out that Mothra did also displayed electromagnetic abilities in KOTM, where she disabled lights aimed at her chrysalis when she was emerging from her pupal form. The KOTM novelization also indicated that Mothra was not only intelligent but fully sentient with telepathic abilities, as well; this was only hinted at in the movie, especially shown with the twin scientists. Concerning the inter-species symbiosis between the Titanus gojira and mosura, I think a major reason for such a relationship probably started because of the predation of the Muto upon radiation-rich Titans such as Godzilla. The parasitic Muto species seem to hunt either in pairs or groups, unless a mature “Muto prime” is present. I think the tactic between the symbiotic species involved Godzilla tackling the larger female Muto while Mothra engaged the male Muto in aerial combat and cancelled out the EMP abilities of both to allow Godzilla to use his offensive abilities.
I kinda knew that Mothra would win is because she is more smarter than other titans but here is this thing one slip up and she was going to be clapped but she is always fully aware
You know, before watching this comparison between Mothera and MUTOs I never realized how similar the two species are. Both are insectoid like creatures with similar anatomy and both species' survival is very much tied to Godzilla's species. It certainly makes me wonder if the two have any common ancestors and if so, which species is the closest to said common ancestor. I would theorize that the MUTOs are closer to such a possible Titan and that Mothera's species possibly split early on, probably when the species diverged upon how to deal with Godzilla's species. MUTO's opted to view Godzilla's species as a natural competitor and prey which is why they would evolve a more robust body where as Mothera's species opted to form a symbiotic relationship with Godzilla's species gifting them added protection and thus no need for a battle hardened body due to less competition for resources from their reptilian friends. It would be interesting to further explore the similarities between these two species and theorize further on if they truly are relatives.
The Male MUTO looks very similar to Mothra. My headcannon is that the MUTOs parasitic relationship to the Godzilla species led them to evolve to resemble Mothra, who is stated to have a "symbiotic relationship" with the G-Man.
@@b.b.B_ simplified; mothra and muto split off a common ancestor, where mothra’s species evolved to help Godzilla and muto’s species evolved to fight them
I love these videos, cause I’m use to things like Death Battle where they pull some really dumb things that characters would never do or something along those lines. You guys pull in literally everything, personalities, actual combat experience and others. Good work.
I don't think the mutos can close their eyes, seeing as they are a line of compound lenses, so any blinding effect would force them to turn their head away from the source. This gives Mothra a HUGE window of opportunity.
Honestly, I think Mothra could survive a blow from the Queen Muto, especially since she has tanked blows from Rodan before. Sure, she can't take many, but she can take enough.
@@BoroPhil ok first calm the fuck down. It’s just an opinion. And second, Godzilla took a long time to fall down from both Mutos attacks. And this was a weaker Godzilla than the 2020 version. Don’t be so dramstic
I was kinda rooting for the Queen Muto, and I was kinda shocked when you said Mothra wins. But after you explained why she wins, then now I kinda understand
I say the muto wins. The reason why mothra wins because she is very popular so if the muto won this might have caused this video to get a lot of backlash
I think mothra has another, very unfair advantage, energy beams, which it used in previous mothra vs Ghidorah movie. It's the same energy that it transferred to Godzilla and enabled it to fight off Ghidorah.
I don't think that is energy beams. I think the main factor in the thermonuclear pulse was the nuke. Also she won't have all abilities from other adaptations, take Phillip's (not me) amazing example for instance.
I can never disagree with your analysis. I subscribed since last year when I saw the Scorpius Rex VS Indoraptor. I love your videos, and I never think twice before clicking on one of your videos. I am really a fan
Thank-you for making a very genuinely unbiased video about Mothra and Queen Motu. This was very informative and fun to watch. I will always feel that legendary should have created Mothra with a much larger and thicker body with modern arms and legs that where updated versions of her original body and not the wasp/mosquito kind she was given.
Hey goji centre can we all just appreciate how much fun it has been watching your videos and being entertained by the Titans! Or dinosaurs so thank you so much for being here with us today and btw could you please do more titan battles with all different titans because they are really fun to watch☺️
I believe mothra would lose the first fight against the Queen muto but thanks to her reincarnation and battle memory she would be able to use this experience from her previous battle to use against the muto, size and speed can always make the difference in a fight but knowing how to use your combat abilities effectively will always trump size and strength, long live the Queen Mosura 🦋
Your prediction is actually almost exactly how I thought the battle would go myself. I thought that Mothra would use its godrays to disorient the MUTO then use its silk to immobilize it. I just wasn't sure what would happen after that, but you provided the answer to that.
This is a great battle analysis of both queen Titans in the Monsterverse and this is a very interesting fight scenario. I really like you delve in depth with the Queen muto because we haven’t got a lot of information about her like other onscreen titans. It would be interesting if future Monsterverse installments introduce Mothra’s other abilities like her Antenna beams and her classic 3-D minor scales or poisonous scale in a MV solo Mothra film.
I was not expecting the outcome of this. I thought the odds were too heavily stacked against Mothra. But I'm glad I was wrong and she won. I love Mothra.
@WeirdNoobUwUsBrother same here too but Mothra was smart and also because of the x factor (can someone tell me what exactly that means) of mothra's fearlessness thanks to reincarnation
Excellent analysis, but I think you somewhat underestimate Mothra’s Battle Exp. While both will have had extensive experience fighting other Titans, Mothra carries the edge with her more than animal, almost human intelligence. Thus, she would this similar level of experience to greater use. Doesn’t really change the outcome though, so like I said, great analysis.
I must admit I was worried that Mothra wouldn't be able to defeat the queen MUTO, but I was glad that Mothra was the overall winner. Mothra is the reigning queen of the monsters!
Awesome video. The quote you used "It's not a matter of strength, it's knowing how to use it" was cool too. I was wondering if you could make a video on Titanus Methuselah vs Titanus Behemoth soon. Would be cool for the fans to see it.
The size it really need it do you think a little art can fight a whale? Of a human can fight a big elephant? Because Mothra small that why she don't have much strength durability and saitamia
You could argue Mothra would win on X-factor alone. She is technically immortal. She could just die over and over again and eventually memorize the Queen Muto's movements and finish her.
This is great all-female battle. I was losing hope when Queen M.U.T.O was having more advantages. But when Mothra was determined the winner, I was happy. I’ll always root for her. She’s the true queen of the monsters!
Mothra's full list of known abilities, available on the gojipedia, are as follows: Abdominal stinger Mothra's stinger is powerful enough to pierce clean through Rodan's geothermal armor at close range. For ambiguous reasons, she appears to only use her stinger as a last resort. Durability Mothra was able to continue fighting throughout her clash with Rodan despite being half-burned by exposure to the latter Titan's high temperatures, though her durability is still less than Rodan's, Ghidorah's or Godzilla's. Energy dispersal Upon dying, Mothra released a cloud of energy that empowered Godzilla following the latter's thermonuclear overload, allowing him to emit smelting heat and release a series of all-devastating thermonuclear pulses. Flight Mothra's gigantic wings allow her to fly across the sky at great speed. God rays Mothra's body in her larval form, and later her thorax in her imago form; are capable of emitting beta-wave bioluminescence that can be projected through the patterns of her imago form's wings. She uses this as a form of communication and can weaponize it to create brilliant, near-blinding 'god rays' of blue light or angelic-looking golden-white light. These god-rays are powerful enough to almost-instantly disperse storm-clouds and produce mighty winds. Additionally, electronics nearby were damaged when she hatched from her cocoon and extended one of her limbs with a flash of bioluminescence from the waterfall. Meteorokinesis She's notably able to clear the sky in her immediate vicinity of the storms being spread around the world by Ghidorah. She first does this before emerging from her cocoon, then again when she arrives at Castle Bravo. Physical manipulation According to the novelization, Mothra forces her metamorphosis inside her cocoon to speed up at will when she senses King Ghidorah's spreading storms. Raptorial forelimbs Mothra's front and middle legs possess pointed tips like a praying mantis, which she utilizes as blade-like weapons for combat against other Titans. Reincarnation Mothra can cheat death by laying an egg upon reaching her imago state, into which she will reincarnate with her memories intact after her previous body dies. Semi-omniscience It's indicated that Mothra has a heightened awareness of the Earth's planetary atmospheric and tectonic/geological interactions and its geological past, which she passes on to Godzilla permanently when her ashes temporarily unlock his Burning Godzilla form. Silk Mothra can fire short, controlled, and sudden blasts of strong, spider-like silk from inside her mandibles in both her larval and imago forms. The silk is strong enough to immobilize humans, and even trap Ghidorah for a significant length of time by gluing his heads to the side of a building. Speed and agility Mothra is a fast and agile flyer, though she's seemingly surpassed in those regards by Rodan. Strength and combat Mothra's fighting style varies depending on what stage of life she is currently in. In her larval form, she primarily relies on her silk attack, as well as her legs and mandibles for combat, but can also cause damage to her surrounding environment (particularly where humans are concerned) sheer size and bulk. In her imago form, Mothra was a fierce enough aerial fighter to match Rodan and keep the latter occupied for a time, before Rodan began to overwhelm her. Symbiosis Mothra can form a symbiotic relationship with Godzilla where they can share their life-force to one another to gain an edge in combat. When taking Ghidorah's gravity beams, she managed to disperse every ounce of her life energy to Godzilla in order to empower him. Thermal vision Mothra in her larval form is capable of sensing thermal radiation, although it is unknown if she still possesses this sense in her imago form.
There has to be a solo Mothra movie soon called *Mothra Queen Of The Monsters* showing her past like a battle with her and *battra* , I still have hope for this movie can happen
Great Video I had my vote on Mothra but worried about the queen Muto winning due the limbs to knock Mothra but the god rays will definitely have an advantage
I think Mothra is still the more experienced one. The Queen Muto sure is experienced but she might not have been around as long as Mothra who is the same since immemorials times.
I am so happy with this video and the results. Except for the strength, you said that Mothra was getting ragdolled and thrown around by Rodan. You see during the battle in Boston, Mothra was not getting ragdolled - but her and Rodan were almost equally pulling on each other, also, Mothra even managed to throw Rodan smack on his ass during the battle (He did get up relatively fast though). He only got the upper hand on her when he threw her into that building. My point is that even for her small size - she is still one of the strongest Titans in the Monsterverse, so this rating should have been more close in that aspect. But overall - GREAT VIDEO. I cant wait to see the battles you have in the future, may I suggest - Godzilla vs Mega Kaiju from Pacific Rim or Godzilla vs Eren's Founding Titan from AOT.
@Christian Guerrero yeah she did put up a fight but not a very good one she was lucky she even won the only reason she did win is because rodan let his guard down
I think a major missed point is the fact that the Queen MUTO has FOUR primary front limbs. Mothra's webbing, while strong, is limited in individual quantity due to her smaller size. The limbs of MUTOs are thick and spread apart, which means that the Queen MUTO will likely still have her other powerful limbs to work with even if 1 or 2 are ensnared. Apart from that, another factor is full body force projection. Mothra's best weapons are close-ranged in nature, which necessitates going in close. However, the Queen MUTO is advantaged not only in striking power, but in full body tackles which can knock over even Godzilla if he's not braced for it. All she'd have to do to nullify Mothra's attacks is to move her full body forward, which would likely completely knock Mothra off balance in flight if not knock her out of the sky entirely. I think this is a case where the Queen MUTO is simply too large for Mothra to meaningfully have an opportunity to kill due to her full body being essentially a battering ram by comparison.
U clearly didn't watched godzilla vs male muto & the fact that Mothra trapped 2 Ghidorah head entire necks which is almost as long, faster, way more flexible, & wayyy stronger than Queen Muto 4 limbs & Mothra has a lot more range with fast asf flight so this fight would be a stomp for Mothra she literally killes thousands of them before☠️💀
You underestimate how much silk Mothra could likely produce, even in the smaller larval state made quite a bit of it and used it very liberally, Mothra would definitely be able to immobilize the Queen Muto in entirety.
@@griffincrump5077 We've not seen her do that against Rodan despite ample opportunity, and the amount she did produce against Ghidorah was proportionately less than as a larva, which makes sense since caterpillars are biologically designed to produce silk to cocoon themselves. Mothra is unique in carrying this ability to her imago stage, but it seems unlikely her production of it would be as great given her bodily transformation. And even then, that's four spread-out limbs you have to web down compared to the entire rest of the body, one that's thicker and less spindly than Ghidorah's despite being smaller in mass.
@@chillbluetoothjj688 ok let me ask you this alright. So your saying that ghidorahs necks are stronger than the mutos arms? Ok then I guess my neck is now stronger than my arms and legs. Edit: oh and your typing tells me your so young you can’t even comprehend this oh and your anime pfp also tells me this:)
Going into this I wouldve thought Muto takes the win. But when you think about it for more than three seconds, it would only be logical for Mothra to keep to the skies and, like this video says, debilitate her melee opponent before delivering a final strike.
I also feel like Mothra would win because in a scenario where the queen MUTO is out of check, Godzilla would show up and help fight her, if he wasn't already there and Mothra would be helping him
I just realised that the Muto would have been probably pretty OP against Mechagodzilla with their EMP lol MG/Kevin : I'M UNSTOPPABLE, INEVITABLE !! Muto : K. *EMP blast* MG/Kevin : *completely shut down while Double K and G-man proceeds to violenty kick his corpse over and over*
Mothra would use hit and run tactics-like she did with the much, much larger King Ghidora-webbing the muto queen up quickly. Yes, she'd have to get close to do so, but it's arguable that's she's fast enough to get in close and out faster than the muto could react. On top of this, she's probably fought many before, given the symbiotic nature between her and the titanus Gojira and the fact that mutos are equipped to hunt gojira, meaning that in theory, she would have learned at this point how to effectively dismantle a queen given her reincarnation ability. Conclusion: In my own opinion, I believe she would've had the edge in experience over a much younger muto queen. An older one may bring a challenge, but we have no evidence to exactly how old Mothra is, meaning the challenge would still be overcome with learned tactics. After all, a fast dwarf with sharp dagger can easily bring down a mountain with a Zweihänder if they know how, and mothra would know how.
I think they may be a chance for mothra here too, queen Muto is more experienced than a male Muto she's also perhaps faster and good in a range well it's very close here too but I assume she'll win
Godzilla defeated the Muto pair in 2014. In 1964, Mothra defeated Godzilla. Mothra wins this fight. Banter aside, excellent analysis! As a kid, I always felt Mothra was on the back foot or a weaker Kaiju simply because she wasn’t an absolute unit like Godzilla or Ghidorah. However, Mothra is the prime example that there is always more than meets the eye. She may not be able to rip apart a warship, drill to the center of the earth, or summon a hurricane, but she can pinpoint your weaknesses and snipe you into oblivion. Mothra’s the undisputed Queen of the Monsters!
Pre-watch prediction: I'm giving odds to the Muto. Mothra is an amazing Kaiju, but the Muto just have too many weapons at their disposal. One on one against either gender would already be a difficult fight for the queen of the monsters, and two on one it'd be a death sentence.
But Mothra isn't stupid enough to go head first into a battle where she could literally get one-shot being careful. She has been reincarnated and have retained all of her memories of previous fights against titans, even mutos

I wanna know something, we've seen the female Muto's evolve from Muto to Muto Prime, so what would a Male Muto look like if it were to survive as long as the Queen Muto?
Maybe he stayed that size and only useful during mating. As the inspiration for the muto is insect, similar idea can be applied where male species in social insect are pretty much useless. Their only function is to mate with the queen. Some like bees will kick out the male member if the colony doesn't have enough food.
It would remain the same-take ants and bees for example-they each have a particular role in their colony and nest with the males being the servants and much smaller than the queens-in other words considering male insects usually die very early in a colony while the queens lives and produces more of them it could be theorized that male mutos don't live very long-that is judging by their insect physiology and biology so i don't think male mutos would live long enough as a queen muto neither do i think they will change in their physical features due to them being only servants to the queen and cannot be bigger or stronger than her neither older.
I for one have to disagree Mothra's God Ray did nothing to the Humans Staring right at it so it would do very little to any Titan. Her webbing would not be able to hold The Queen Muto for long given it's amazing Strength plus her Inner and Outer Skeleton structure would make most of Mothra's attacks minimum at best. Mothra dose have the best experience so would last for a while but i think The Female Muto would still win because all it needs are a couple of strikes and Mothra is down and with Mothra's only way of fighting being up close and personnel The Female Muto would get that chance. Respect and keep up the epic work.
I disagree with you on the god-rays. Why ? Because Mothra herself use bioluminescent in both communicate and battle. That one god-rays we saw in the movie actually Mothra trying to communicate with Godzilla. By the way Mothra cares about humanity and she protect it, maybe she acknowledge there's was humans on the sea so she weakened down here god-rays strong enough to blow away clouds but not affecting to humans, in others way Mothra was to high on the clouds so the shockwave from the god-rays can't hit the humans on the sea.
@@chillbluetoothjj688 Yeah but only Ghidorah's two heads were really trapped and the third one ripped the webbing off the others which were trapped. Don't go acting like everyone is an idiot when you don't have the full picture, mkay, mkay.
Yeah really reasonable plus they Said Mothra would not second guess before she does a bold move because she is immortal so that could cost her life in the fight plus in my opinion I fell like the Mutos are somewhat underrated to other Kaiju
I was actually gonna call them out that they would make Mothra win out of bias. But at the end I was actually surprised of the possible reason why Mothra would win. Kudos!
I love Mothra and she's Queen for a reason. But she's also really squishy. Unlike most titans who can take a hit and foe the most part shrug it off she cant. Given the sheer size difference it would take just one lucky hit to take her out. And we all know luck does play a factor in any fight
But she still retains memories of previous battles throughout the centuries so she knows well enough about her weaknesses and can use her strengths fully to her advantage
@@veriousshifter2930 maybe but being able to reincarnate endlessly would most likely also make her reckless with her life since there are no real consequences if she dies
@@thunderbasilisk1352 That probably lead to her death a few times in the past. She probably knows now not to be as reckless at least when it comes to larger titans
Strangely enough, this match-up kinda reminds me of a real life 'Death Battle' that occurs between two seemingly mismatched opponents... namely, the Tarantula Hawk Wasp, along with the spider it preys on. Looking at the two, the Tarantula seems WAAAY bigger & more formidable than the wasp; yet, when they actually fight, the wasp wins it 9/10 times..! Dunno, I guess the fight just strikes me as somewhat similar, what with a smaller, more agile creature managing to bring down a far bigger & tougher opponent... either way, I'm glad Mothra bae manages to take it - her title of "Queen of the Monsters" is well deserved! ;-)
Not only that, her battle experience throughout the years will play the hugest roll since when she dies, she reincarnates and retaines her previous memories of fighting against other titans like mutos
@@mariebenjaminepanganiban2568 Well of course the previous iterations of her are gonna be stronger, the japanese have no limits. Plus, they monsterverse version was made as a more american and realistic approach
Had Mothra have killing/murderous intent, I doubt her fight with Rodan dragged out for that long. She was just pushing Rodan away and just incapacitated Rodan by stinging him in a non-lethal spot. Heck, if Mothra truly wanted Rodan dead, she would've stabbed Rodan multiple times, but she didn't. Also, as Mothra's Godrays are now literal shockwaves that even buzzed Shimo mid-Freezing Ray, Mothra would absolutely body Rodan and, probably, Queen Muto as well.
hard to tell muto prime still got the weakness of the muto low mobility due to "only ground kaiju" but she also a lot faster so it's kinda hard to tell i think it's just gonna like muto queen vs mothra the moth is death meat if she makes even a tiny mistakes and also i think the web skill is less useful due to muto primo super hug fore arms
You’re analyzes on how this battle would look like seems accurate to me. I’d also like to mention another thing that would mothra even a clearer winner. If she would die to the queen MUTO, she can always come back in her other reincarnation to finish the job. And if mothra does again, she will keep on coming back until the MUTO is truly dead
@@maximillian1109 But it's also a known fact that Mothra can actively speed up her metamorphosis. And we don't actually know how long it usually takes to hatch. The egg in the film was 10,000 years old, but given that Mothra possesses an almost omniscient awareness of the natural world, it's possible she chose not to hatch as there were no other active Titans.
I can see this happening. Though I can kinda see this match going both ways if certain events play out like with Mothra coating Queen MUTO in order to restrain her. But if she was blinded by Mothra’a god rays Queen MUTO like her species before her would contain echolocation so pair that with her battle experiences she could be able to find Mothra using this ability and dodge those silk attacks long enough for her to regain sight.
Actually, furry moths have a special adaptation that nullifies echolocation, their fur absorbs most of the soundwaves. They use this to escape from bats~
I imagine Mothra could easily win after being reincarnated into a better form, but I think she would likely leave the battle there. Once reincarnated she would just remain peaceful, unless provoked or protecting a titan in an unfair fight like Godzilla, Behemoth etc
I can't wait for future appearances for Mothra and the Queen Muto in future Monsterverse films. THIS is going to be very interesting y'all. And I wonder how Godzilla feels about wifey fighting this bug.
I agree with this analysis. It seems likely that the Godzilla species had major trouble with MUTOS before, but something had to be keeping ours alive, yeah? Mothra seems built almost perfectly to dismantle this species, especially with the likely potential of Godzilla backup. Variety in arsenal can go a long way, and Mothra has some of the widest arrays of skills from any Kaiju we’ve seen!
i disagree with the whole godrays thing. remember, MUTOs have ECHOLOCATION. so even if she was blind, she could still detect mothra quite easily. and we're forgetting that this muto has MUCH longer range with her four primary limbs.
This is true I completely forget about that so even if the god rays could blind queen Muto then she could use that. Man I need to watch 2014 again it is my favorite movie
So we knew someone would bring this up and made a comment about this but here it is again. Hairy moths use “noise-cancelling” scales on their bodies to avoid being detected by predators, scientists have found. These hair-like growths can absorb “as much as 85 per cent of the incoming sound energy from bats”, acting as a type of “biological stealth coating”. This never made it in the video but it was accounted for.
@@GojiCenter I have a question. The muto in this case has 6 limbs meaning that even if 1 was webbed, the other 5 could still remove it. Since Mothra can only web up 1 at a time or 2 at most due to the distance the mutos limbs r from 1 another, she will b using hit n run meaning the muto will have adequate time to rove the webbing before mothra comes back. N could do this until mothra runs out of webbing. We also know that the mutos r proportionally very strong meaning that she definitely could remove the webbing. So how did mothra still win?
@@kickarselprogamer368 I would say due to the position of the 2nd middle limb of the muto, it has very limited range and mainly being use to move around. Silk on the other hand can maintain it's integrity despite being stretched many times thus it would make muto to take more time to remove it. Especially when mothra kept on shooting the web repeatedly. I see her approach is similar to spitting spider, shoot the silk and keep a distance until the prey was totally immobilised before went for the kill.
@@zharul8716 but don't the mutos have very sharp claws that can b used to efficiently cut through the webs? Anyways, if mothra can indeed rapid fire webs then she wins. U can't beat a sky camper with a web minigun
This battle is very close but i still pick Mothra to be the winner. The ability to fly around and snare her opponent before the killing blow is too op and her revive ability also gave her insane level of combat experience so Mothra will still be the queen of the monster for me.
Except that the muto has 6 limbs. Meaning even if 1 was webbed(n mothra can only web up 1 limb at a time), she can use the other 5 to free herself. Also the mutos have Benn shown to b pound for pound very strong
Mortha web snare gydora in the movie so there no doubt the muto can be snare.Silk is very strong i doubt the muto has the power equal of gydora to break free of the web. Mortha can just stay in the air the entire battle spamming web to fully immobilized the muto then bam killing blow. The muto is very strong true but the the title queen of the monster has been hold by Mothra for a long long time and it will always be the case for me. Also in the movie mortha snare all 3 of gydora heads at once so i heavily doubt think she can only web 1 limbs at a time.
I have a Theory That Queen Muto Has Known about Mothra's Superiority, Thats Why She Is the Queen Of Monsters Afterall also If Muto Kills Mothra, You bet You will see a Burning Godzilla Behind Ya
I knew it that Mothra could come back to life after laying an eggs before dying. She could die and then hatch from her egg and she’s back with previous knowledge of what had happened and her fighting skills back, so I guess I was right after all
Why don’t you make an in-depth analysis between the two 2014 mutos and King Ghidorah too see how king would face off the Empoli of the mutos? Love ya great video
I’m a massive fan of mothra but I must admit when she is defeated Mothra’s silk attack worked within close range and gidorah was distracted during this scene. It is obvious that mothra would have to be rather close to attack with her silk basically making her blinding useless due to animal instinct to attack anyway when blinded or inked etc Anyway love the vid and keep up the work
The only reason I thought to myself on how it would win would be it stabbing/attacking on its back, I do not really think the Muto could look up to defend its back
Does she need to? Her armour is there exactly to protect her spine and organs from attackers that comes up behind her. That shit would be super thick and strong, and I highly doubt tiny Mothra would be able to pierce it. Just look at a crocodile or an alligator. Their skin on their backs and heads are so thick that you cant even stab through it with a knife, and you need a high caliber rifle to be able to shoot them. Take that, but make it way bigger and probably even stronger since their exoskeleton seems more like that of an insect, and we all know how hard to kill those are.
Just imagine if Mothra dies and some Muto destroys her egg as well . It would be the end of the Queen . Unless she lays more than one , in that case :0.....
Just like in the fight against Rodan Mothra needs luck and fighting experience BUT the idea of genetic memory in the MV is still premature and weak, there are few lines and no confirmation, so Mothra's battle experience should not be considered now that you think about it, maybe other Mothras have fought a lot but not all of this mothra's family line, meanwhile Queen Muto still has evidence of many fights and many victories and if we have faith even against other Godzillas since the prey of MUTOS it's them for ages and this MUTO is older. To be honest, this video was extremely unfair and very theoretical, in practice Mothra would have to be very lucky to win since even going in the unprotected part the movement of the mutos is big without all the legs (Only one would be affected) and we still have other arms that could be used to get her out of there, not to mention that the EMP of the premature Mutos made the fucking godzilla weaker, imagine an older MUTO against a younger Mothra? Anyway, Mothra's queen status is still overrated too much to the point that one of the most underrated creatures in the MV can come in and take her down, it's funny.
A normal female Muto could surely break off the silk on its forelimbs. The female Muto in 2014 was also shown to be able to lift her forelimbs pretty high in the air. There is no way Mothra can get close without getting smacked. When Mothra ensnared Ghidorah, Ghidorah didn't have any arms to free it from the silk, but if Mothra ensnared the Muto's legs. The Muto would still have at least 4 forelimbs to get rid of the silk.
Well first you blind the enemy and than you disabled all their limbs this isn't complicated for a creature who live multiple reincarnation and fight countless battle. Mothra silk must be stronger than a mare spider silk so it stupid strong and she can shoot multiple silk.
I wonder if Mothra’s ‘scythes’ can damage the limbs of the MUTO, somewhat crippling it. Other than that, agility, special moves, and lifetimes of experience do give Mothra the winning edge in a 1v1 scenario. 🙌

Yeah. Combined with the rivalry with Kongs, the Godzilla species wouldn’t have survived without Mothra
@@frostedtheblob2882 Based on what we know, Godzilla species were dominant on both sides, since they survived every war, not saying Mothra had no play in it, but she wasn't the pivotal point or main reason they survived, that's pushing it a little too far.

And, to play devils advocate, its not unfair to assume the Queen could call on a male, maybe even a few

But when both of them crashed into a building it looks like Rodan slammed Mothra forcefully before they got back to the skies

Yeah me too but good video Goji Center!

Mutos have less of a competitive relationship with Godzilla and more of a parasitic one, whereas Mothra is more Symbiotic
Thats allot of words
The Male MUTO looks very similar to Mothra. My headcannon is that the MUTOs parasitic relationship to the Godzilla species led them to evolve to resemble Mothra, who is stated to have a "symbiotic relationship" with the G-Man.

Mothra's full list of known abilities, available on the gojipedia, are as follows:
Abdominal stinger
Mothra's stinger is powerful enough to pierce clean through Rodan's geothermal armor at close range. For ambiguous reasons, she appears to only use her stinger as a last resort.
Durability
Mothra was able to continue fighting throughout her clash with Rodan despite being half-burned by exposure to the latter Titan's high temperatures, though her durability is still less than Rodan's, Ghidorah's or Godzilla's.
Energy dispersal
Upon dying, Mothra released a cloud of energy that empowered Godzilla following the latter's thermonuclear overload, allowing him to emit smelting heat and release a series of all-devastating thermonuclear pulses.
Flight
Mothra's gigantic wings allow her to fly across the sky at great speed.
God rays
Mothra's body in her larval form, and later her thorax in her imago form; are capable of emitting beta-wave bioluminescence that can be projected through the patterns of her imago form's wings.
Meteorokinesis
She's notably able to clear the sky in her immediate vicinity of the storms being spread around the world by Ghidorah. She first does this before emerging from her cocoon, then again when she arrives at Castle Bravo.
Physical manipulation
According to the novelization, Mothra forces her metamorphosis inside her cocoon to speed up at will when she senses King Ghidorah's spreading storms.
Raptorial forelimbs
Mothra's front and middle legs possess pointed tips like a praying mantis, which she utilizes as blade-like weapons for combat against other Titans.
Reincarnation
Mothra can cheat death by laying an egg upon reaching her imago state, into which she will reincarnate with her memories intact after her previous body dies.
Semi-omniscience
It's indicated that Mothra has a heightened awareness of the Earth's planetary atmospheric and tectonic/geological interactions and its geological past, which she passes on to Godzilla permanently when her ashes temporarily unlock his Burning Godzilla form.
Silk
Mothra can fire short, controlled, and sudden blasts of strong, spider-like silk from inside her mandibles in both her larval and imago forms. The silk is strong enough to immobilize humans, and even trap Ghidorah for a significant length of time by gluing his heads to the side of a building.
Speed and agility
Mothra is a fast and agile flyer, though she's seemingly surpassed in those regards by Rodan.
Strength and combat
Mothra's fighting style varies depending on what stage of life she is currently in.
Symbiosis
Mothra can form a symbiotic relationship with Godzilla where they can share their life-force to one another to gain an edge in combat. When taking Ghidorah's gravity beams, she managed to disperse every ounce of her life energy to Godzilla in order to empower him.
Thermal vision
Mothra in her larval form is capable of sensing thermal radiation, although it is unknown if she still possesses this sense in her imago form.

Nah mothra got lucky y'all just big fans and hate to say she was getting rekt
@@xoof24 ain’t no way u just said she just got lucky💀
@@xoof24 Yes I'm a fan of Mothra, but is was clearly shown that she was putting up a fight.
@@xoof24 Unfortunately, mothra is still the winner in this fight, even though she's physically weaker than rodan
@@chillbluetoothjj688 true
I also feel like Mothra would win because in a scenario where the queen MUTO is out of check, Godzilla would show up and help fight her, if he wasn't already there and Mothra would be helping him
Its showed that Mothra would win at a safe distance and the right moment to strike

I love the Queen MUTO and I love Mothra so this is going to be very exiting and interesting!
The title of queen isn't just earned by strength it's earned by knowing how to use it.

Suggestion muto male vs mothra analysis
I think they may be a chance for mothra here too, queen Muto is more experienced than a male Muto she's also perhaps faster and good in a range well it's very close here too but I assume she'll win
Prob male muto in my opinion
I think Mothra would win because the male MUTO is NOT built for fighting winged titans.
Kinky Mothra: Fly like a Butterfly, Sting like Bee. And just so you know... this bee can bind you for being bad. *Straps in the Peg sword*
Muto: do you fear death?
Mothra: no, death fears me.
hahaha
Muto's has a large blindspot.. Their back.. They have limited neck rotation which Mothra a flying creature can totally exploit
Then you realize “oh shit this one’s neck got big ass scales to protect it”
Godzilla defeated the Muto pair in 2014.

@@zharul8716 exactly 😃
@@zharul8716 That makes sense, though in my opinion it'd be awesome to see a spikey flying Muto.
@@annabelleuchiha4415 That also makes sense.
Mothra trapped the heaviest Titan against a building with just 1 webshot but ur tryna say Queen Muto would escape that makes no sense😂😂☠️☠️

Mothras battle style is brains instead of brawn and I love it
I was actually gonna call them out that they would make Mothra win out of bias. But at the end I was actually surprised of the possible reason why Mothra would win. Kudos!
Goji center is not biased, just be realistic
Dunno, I guess the fight just strikes me as somewhat similar, what with a smaller, more agile creature managing to bring down a far bigger & tougher opponent... either way, I'm glad Mothra bae manages to take it - her title of "Queen of the Monsters" is well deserved! ;-)
Mothra really lacks durability, but her flight and godrays are game changers here. I think mothra would win
Not only that, her battle experience throughout the years will play the hugest roll since when she dies, she reincarnates and retaines her previous memories of fighting against other titans like mutos
Trues, she might be the weakest after all
@@mariebenjaminepanganiban2568 Not the weakest titan, just weak in overall strength
@@veriousshifter2930 yes, shes isnt weak in the mv series but iryou compare her to toho ones

You maybe the "Queen" of your kind ,but I am the Queen of the world - Titanus Mosura probably
But if queen muto evolved into muto prime there is no way mothra could win
MUTO prime obliterates her no diff cause Muto prime nearly won against godzilla so mothra god ABSOLUTELY 0% CHANCE of living
hard to tell
muto prime still got the weakness of the muto low mobility due to "only ground kaiju"
but she also a lot faster so it's kinda hard to tell
i think it's just gonna like muto queen vs mothra
the moth is death meat if she makes even a tiny mistakes
and also i think the web skill is less useful due to muto primo super hug fore arms
Gaining more and more experience in taking down The Queen MUTO.
@@infernoblaze1359 Exactly
It can take hundreds of years before Mothra hatches again. The MUTO would most likely be all healed up by the time she is back.
@@maximillian1109
But it's also a known fact that Mothra can actively speed up her metamorphosis.
And we don't actually know how long it usually takes to hatch.
The egg in the film was 10,000 years old, but given that Mothra possesses an almost omniscient awareness of the natural world, it's possible she chose not to hatch as there were no other active Titans.
@@maximillian1109 The larva hatches after its mother dies
I'm glad that Godzilla gets to reunite with his Wife and Mothra gets to reunite with her Husband which is Godzilla

I knew it that Mothra could come back to life after laying an eggs before dying. She could die and then hatch from her egg and she’s back with previous knowledge of what had happened and her fighting skills back, so I guess I was right after all
Hi
Yeah Mothra would remember Queen Muto’s moves and the her own moves that didn’t work so she would use different moves and kill the Queen Muto
I agree!!! Mothra would win.
Why don’t you make an in-depth analysis between the two 2014 mutos and King Ghidorah too see how king would face off the Empoli of the mutos? Love ya great video
That's such a spite battle it's a waste of time rlly thinking about it☠️
I’m a massive fan of mothra but I must admit when she is defeated
Mothra’s silk attack worked within close range and gidorah was distracted during this scene. It is obvious that mothra would have to be rather close to attack with her silk basically making her blinding useless due to animal instinct to attack anyway when blinded or inked etc
Anyway love the vid and keep up the work
This is exactly what I think would happen even before I watched this video. This is so detailed.
The only reason I thought to myself on how it would win would be it stabbing/attacking on its back, I do not really think the Muto could look up to defend its back
It actually has quite a large range
You're the worst,that'll never happen
You guys are fantastic!!
This is amazing but I'm still kinda sad that the muto lost again
Like really I never see them win any fight in these videos
They are so underrated, like queen muto won't just stand still for mothra to hit her
Just like in the fight against Rodan Mothra needs luck and fighting experience BUT the idea of genetic memory in the MV is still premature and weak, there are few lines and no confirmation, so Mothra's battle experience should not be considered now that you think about it, maybe other Mothras have fought a lot but not all of this mothra's family line, meanwhile Queen Muto still has evidence of many fights and many victories and if we have faith even against other Godzillas since the prey of MUTOS it's them for ages and this MUTO is older.
So MUTO EMP's can reduce attacks, therefore after some time, Mothra's attacks will not do that much to the Queen MUTO.
Even if 1 of her limbs were webbed, she could still remove the webbing with her other 5 limbs
The silk is powerful and the Muto wouldn’t reach her head
Ghidorah didn’t manage to get out easily of the silk but thanks to Godzilla Ghidorah was free
Well first you blind the enemy and than you disabled all their limbs this isn't complicated for a creature who live multiple reincarnation and fight countless battle. Mothra silk must be stronger than a mare spider silk so it stupid strong and she can shoot multiple silk.
It takes a while for the MUTO to actually rear its forelimbs, and is way too slow to catch Mothra.
Suprising outcome considering how much smaller mothra is, good fight
