Today I review the new Hiya Toys King Ghidorah (2019) action figure. As a whole Hiya Toys King Ghidorah (2019) turned out to be absolute fantastic. The sculpt is fantastic, the paint apps are clean, we have nice accessories and Hiya Toys King Ghidorah (2019) is fully posable. This really is the best articulated King Ghidorah 2019 figure and it is a must buy. I absolutely recommend picking up Hiya Toys King Ghidorah (2019) .

I might wait a bit before considering a Hiya Ghidorah. They might come out with a 2.0 version after hearing feedback about the neck, much like Godzilla 2021 did.
Or the paint especially the body is not horibble but is too bright contrary to the wings and the back
Maybe we’ll get an elbow joint too so he can get in better crawling poses.
Oh and some gravity beams

Diego, are you interested in getting the rest of the Big Four? If you haven't bought Rodan, and just want one version, I would suggest wait for the flameborn one. It got a cool UV light pattern, and I believe a better paintjob. And was that Skullcrawler at the start? Review coming up?
On the city building crawling pose, what lights did you use under the explosion effects?
Even the height differences between Godzilla and King Ghidorah is accurate to the movie, absolutely fantastic!

The only thing holding me back with getting this figure is that I currently have no place to display it. I'm prioritising on getting a new display shelf first this year over getting new figures
Aside from the lack of effects, this utterly blows the monster arts out of the way. My bud has the monsterarts and would say how it would fall at the drop at the hat.

I hope in the future hiya would give us more ball joints for some poses. As like for godzilla2019/21 he can look all the way up. And his body having 2 ball joints like shma yo properly recreate that hollow quarry drill he did in hong kong
Do we know if this company will branch out from the monsterverse and go into the original eras?
They have a G91 up for preorder now.
I think they’ll continue doing the Monsterverse as the movies go on and also branch out at the same time to the older movies such as the Showa, Heisei, and Millennium, I’d love to see their take on the 1998 Godzilla or Zilla since there’s no good in-scale figure of him atm.
I think the Tamashii Effect [Lightning] (Yellow Version) would've been better for the electro-breath than King Ghidorah 1991 SCV's breath effects. It also would work well for that scene where Ghidorah fired off lightning from his wing talons, right before he dropped Goji from orbit.

I was gonna wait to buy 5 of Hiya's releases (Ghidorah, Kong 2021, Rodan, Mothra, and translucent 2021 Godzilla), but I can't wait any longer for Ghidorah. He's too...perfect. the fact that you can get him into a 4-legged stance seals the deal. However, I do hear that it is a bit hard to separate the wing segments from one another, mainly from Shinrobjira's video. Is your copy the same way?
I just got mine today, it's not hard, but its solid and require a good pull/tug, but I think what gets most ppl is that you pull lighter than intended because the required amount feels like you will damage the joint/wing, but when you get the right amount, it pop's out just fine. Once you remember that feel/amount of force it becomes ez to pop in/out as ur not over/under forcing it

I'm a little sad with mine. He can't stand up straight, even with the stand. For some reason, mine's torso is a little loose or something? He kinda just tips over, rather than stands straight and tall :\ Regardless, he still looks pretty cool! I just don't know of a way to fix that issue
Do you have the wings flexed backwards as far as possible? Mine got a little front heavy if the wings were folded in a little to far.

I would try to stay away from eBay if you can. It seems like a lot of people have been getting ripped off on there in one way or another.

@@DiegoDoomYou know, it was early morning before coffee. I saw the 2019 in the title and assumed this was an old video, so whatever version of ghedorah I saw in eBay for big bucks I figured that makes sense if it’s been a few years.

As I mentioned in your stream before, I wasn't sure about the Hiya fanfare in regards to their Godzilla. The sculpt was amazing, but the paint and articulation were pretty lacking.
Ghidorah, though? Absolutely deserves the status of superior to SH MonsterArts.
I SO WANT THEM TO MAKE A KIRYU NOW. Then again, how much better could they be than the Soul of Chogokin Kiryu?

One of my wing joints seems to be stuck. It can rotate but I can’t hinge it. All the wing sections move except the one. Smh I can’t even do the crawl pose or even the attach all wings for the dominant stance. Anyone having this issue?
Is the huge pointing outward?
@@DiegoDoom the joint points outward so the wing do the open spread but I have to force the wings to attach. I feel like the plastic joint is being bent doing so
The joints are detailed and tricky, so tricky that you have to make sure you see the seam line for the joint before you try to move it

My sole complaint about the Hiya version of Ghidorah is that massive underbite on all the heads. They made the lower jaw sculpt a bit too long. It makes him look derpy compared to the Monsterarts version at certain angles and really bad when the jaws are closed. I do wish the Monsterarts version was a little more accurate to what is seen in the movie, had the foldable wings though, and wasn't as pricey. I can however give credit where credit is due and say that the Hiya version is better, but FIX those jaws!

@@GojiraFan-in9ooNot really, just because Hiya Ghidorah has wing articulation does not mean it’s good articulation, just like monsterarts the wings are the weakest part due to how brittle and fragile the joints are. The one thing Monsterarts Ghidorah has over Hiya Ghidorah is the neck articulation. Everything you’re correct. Let’s also not forget about the horns on the heads being out of place as well as the overly large underbite.
