We have been twinning in our journeys. I had my gastric bypass Sept 22 and I love following our progress together and we are very close. It's just amazing! Keep up your great work and good luck in your new job!
Over 6 stone in 6 months…..a stone a month….that’s fantastic 🤩 I start my journey tomorrow, op in a couple of days. Thanks for all the info, I hope I do as well as you👍🏽
Oh wow. Just wanted to extend my congratulations on your success. I was letting UA-cam do its thing and I saw your pre-op video through a reaction video. I noticed it was 6 months old, so checked your channel and found this video. Honestly, the difference is incredible. Your energy is amazing and it's lovely to see that you are embracing your journey rather than practically apologising every minute for considering the surgery. The comparison of what your body couldn't do anymore in your pre-op video vrs this, where you are planning to return to the exercise classes you love.... fantastic, just brilliant. Well done you :) keep it up. New sub x
If I recall correctly, you're taller than me. I'm 5'6" (167 cm, I do believe). My surgeon's goal weight for me is 160 pounds. That would still be within the "overweight" category on the BMI scale. When people have been obese for a long time, we have higher bone density, more blood vessels, and larger hearts than people who have never been overweight. But, being a little overweight does not mean that we will be unhealthy. I'm already so much healthier than I was before I had my surgery. At my last doctor's visit, I was told that I am no longer diabetic. It makes me cry, to think about it, I'm so happy! Oh and crazy losses... Yeah, my boobs are on their way out - and my butt is pretty much gone. Like you, I still have a tummy, though! LOL!
Love watching your timeline - I’m 3yrs post op and 1+ from plastics you’re doing fantastic. I can see now much you’ve changed from ‘wanting for my health’ to changing a bit more to number goals, etc and am here for it you’re following in my footsteps! I cared more to bet my health and mobility back and now I’m a size 10 and healthy everything changes! For the best!
I know exactly what your saying about being to notice yourself! I’ve not had surgery but I am on a weight loss journey I’ve lost 2stone and can’t tell and I feel it’s so hard to carry on when your not getting the reward of being able to see it! Watching your journey is keeping me going you look incredible and it’s really inspiring
Congratulations gorgeous and thank you for sharing your weight loss journey ❤️ I'm having a gastric sleeve in 5 weeks can't wait to start my weight loss journey xx
Well done Trina Louise! I’m back up to nearly 170 lbs, the biggest I’ve ever been in my life aside from late pregnancy. I’m glad you are setting an example that having a goal to lose weight is okay.
Wonderland is a great place to be and l believe you will get there. There are always bumps along the journey, just get back on track as quickly as you can 😊
Well done keep going , i had a sleeve november 2020 took me 12 month to get to trget of 11 stone loss, ive maintained that ever since. What can i say its not an easy option, the planning of food and nutritional value doesnt change. The tool is just like going the gym you have to keep doing it ! Im lucky i dont have any hunger i just get bursts of craving salt. Your doing great xx
Trina-Louise... You're such a beautiful person. You have inspired me more than you will ever know. Thank you for just being you... The whole fabulousness that is you x
You have had an amazing 6 months just keep on doing what you need to do, im now coming up 9 years post bypass and doing a pouch reset at the minute just to go back to basics
Keep up the good work x you seem to be glowing, so weight loss clearly agrees with you! I lost 6 stone years ago on Lighterlife (yes, put it all back on) but even at 10 stone and size 12, BMI I was classed as over weight still. The BMI should be killed off as like you say, its outdated and not fit for purpose! I'm now aiming to just be about a size 14 and feel happy when I look in the mirror and not obsess about the scales or some daft chart!!!! Take care x
your doing so well Trina. im also on a weightloss journey and have had to declutter several times, having lost over 5 stone so far it was getting so expensive that i turned to shien and brought sale items, i knew when buying them that they wouldnt last for too long before they would need replacing. once i get closer to my goal weight is when i will start to buy better, non sale orientated bits. it is so hard when your paying full price and know that in 6/8/10/12 weeks they need to be replaced x
Also on a weight loss and health journey I have lost 2 stone 9lbs in total so far in 7 weeks. I feel better physically and mentally it really is a big change. People keep saying that they have noticed the difference but I feel like I've still not seen the changes I want. Good luck for next month, you've done great. X
@@lucythepiglet calorie counting and also making a conscious effort to move my body more. It really has made a difference to me physically and mentally x
Thanks for sharing your journey. I too am on a journey and listening to you inspires me to stay focused and keep making progress. Congrats on your spectacular first six months and as you navigate the months ahead I wish you continued success and look forward to your updates.
Trina you’re smashing it all you should be so very proud of your achievements!! Thinking about routine/planning I saw a girl on TikTok make a veggie platter where she prepped lots of different veggies and that was what she would use for the week. You could maybe try that and see if that helps with planning. You could also do it with fruits and treats(like some nuts and fruit with a little chocolate treat in with them). Just a wee idea! ❤
You look lovely! Congratulations on your journey so far. Wishing you many blessings on the next part of your journey. Be patient and don’t overdo when you go back to the gym. Sending love from Maine, USA.
I've been dieting since mid Jan I was 19st 3 pounds I'm 17st 6 now. I'm in the right head space. Doctor said he be happy for my hip operation to be as least 33 bmi. Of course I would like to be get way less. I idea weight and what I was happy at was 13 stone I'm only 5ft 5 but like you big boned I have 9eee feet. Bigger hands than some men. I think I'm always going to have a food planner to note everything I eat. I was only eating little before but high in Carbs. I'm eating healthier now Ocadeo brings very fresh fruit but low carb fruit. Low fat yogurts, slimshake taking vitamins. So I'm especially loving your videos clothes hauls I would if you did TU clothes. Talking about skin I think it is your tummy wheir you will have it. Thankyou for video I was waiting lol xx
Congratulations! I have my sleeve booked for the end of next month. Quite nervous now it’s getting closer but also so excited for my new life! I’ve been watching all of your videos and hope I have a journey like you! ❤
Your doing a great job. I have found some good books in the US about bariatric meal prep. Many of them have plans for 6 weeks of meals that can be rotated. You might be able to find them in the UK or something similar.
I'm happy you're happy! I've been following since shortly after your surgery. I'm a similar (slightly higher) starting weight and I am considering the surgery too, for similar reasons- to be able to use my body to do the things I want. Thing is I've worked so hard over the past few years accepting my body (and all bodies) no matter what size. How do you feel about people commenting on your body? I'm nervous about that and starting to drift back into the false thinking that thinner is inherently better.
Congratulations hun .... i hope u keep up the good work n that u dont let urself down ..... keep firm may I recommend some crystals that u can use to stave off those cravings 😊 xx
You are doing so well and should be really proud of yourself. Like you said now is the time to take stock and look at what you are doing, more preparing etc. will you have excess skin removal at the end of your journey? Enjoy your holiday xx
I am in the beginning process of preparing for my bariatric surgery; it will probably be a sleeve, where they remove most of my stomach. I’m getting my clearances and working with my Nutritionists to change my diet. One concern I have is that post-surgery everything will revolve around food and food prep… is that how it is? Or does it get easier to where you don’t have to think about it as much?
Have you experienced any hair loss? If so, when did you notice it happen? I'm 3 months post op, down 100 lbs since Nov 22' and have lost a considerable amount of hair. Slightly freaking out :/
Maybe it’s reaching my mid 30s but the last year for me I have really felt my weight and struggled with a lot of day to day life due to it but I still haven’t got the motivation or ability to do anything about it 😢 Gastric surgery wouldn’t be for me because I don’t eat a lot or big meals it’s just that what I eat is not healthy and I fall down the takeaway route when I’m too tired to cook.
Do you go on walks with your boyfriend? You don't have to go anywhere to lift some hand weights and do some stretching at home to a video. After I use the restroom, I try and pull in my stomach 10 times before I leave the bathroom. You can also do that at a desk. There are plenty of desk exercises you can do.
We have been twinning in our journeys. I had my gastric bypass Sept 22 and I love following our progress together and we are very close. It's just amazing! Keep up your great work and good luck in your new job!
Best wishes to you! Congrats! 🎉

I love a good supermarket bargain so maybe you could try Tu, George and Nutmeg? xxx

You look gorgeous girl!!! I just had gastric bypass on 3-14-23. Your updates have been so helpful. I have a question. Do you deal with gas?
Try doing the wind relieving/removing pose in yoga. I taught it to a friend of mine who had the surgery years ago and it helped her immensely.
Congratulations! Yes, gas is a thing. Always will be, I reckon.
Pence😂 you've done amazing well done xx
I said it so many times 🤣🤣 and thank you!! 💖💖💖
Maybe it’s reaching my mid 30s but the last year for me I have really felt my weight and struggled with a lot of day to day life due to it but I still haven’t got the motivation or ability to do anything about it 😢

Why do people losing weight seem to say their weight in pounds rather than stones and pounds? It confuses me!

Maybe get weighed once a month ,that way your not beating yourself up. Your doing fab ,try to keep positive xx
U look like a different person xxx
Definitely try Fatface :).
