I saw this concert in New Haven, CT August 1982. It was the first concert I ever went to and to this day it is best concert I ever went to. They didn't just play they put on a show. To be part of an audience of 12,000 people clapping and stomping during " We Will rock you" was magical.
I've seen a lot of videos QUEEN singing this song but this is the first time seeing this one. And because of this song I love FAT BOTTOMS GIRLS. 💕💞💓💖💝.THANKS. Ed SHE let it play all the way.

Girls aren't really supposed to go around looking like stick insects. A little bit of weight is not necessarily a bad thing. Many women's magazines are responsible for making girls overly concerned about what they look like, rather than just getting out and enjoying themselves.
"It's too much talent on one stage!" - ain't that the truth :) I've been a fan of these guys since a friend at school showed me one of their albums back in 1981 (i think) and while I know this song so well, this is my first time hearing this live version. Thanks 👍
Thank you for your reaction, Miaaaaaaaaa!!!! One fine day when you are ready for some greatness by Queen you need to react to "White Queen" by Queen, live from the Hammersmith Odeon! Simply beautiful!!
It's strange to think that at this stage Queen were hated by the press and a lot of the British public. They had broken the apartheid ban and played in South Africa [which quite a few did], but they were singled out for special hatred for some reason. On being invited to do Live Aid they went into an intense rehearsal routine, which is why they sounded so good on the day. They won the day and resurrected themselves. I cannot abide 'modern' Queen, but back in the early 70's I saw them several times when they were a true rock and roll band and they were amazing. 'Flick of the Wrist' still gives me goosebumps nearly 50 years on.
Love it, Miaaa!! Loving the Queen reactions! Please check out “Save Me” live in Montreal. It’s amazing! But, then again, all of their performances were amazing. They truly were better live!
Thank You Lori 🙂 I Appreciate All This Good Feedback . I Will Check That One Out Also , They’re Live Performances Have Yet To Let Me Down So That One Has To Be GREAT Lol .
One of the greatest bands ever. It’s a 20 minute video but people will watch and it won’t feel like 20 minutes. Check out Queen Live Aid Performance the full set. It’s about 20 minutes. It’s widely referred to as one of the greatest performances in rock music. Based on your reaction to this, you will love it. I’ve never heard anyone get a copyright strike on it, should be safe.
Freddie Mercury setting 80s fashion trends with one accidental outfit, from one performance. You will never convince me the great Michael Jackson never saw this.
@@DoIttMiaaaa it just kind of just hit me...4 guys produced a breathe of music in richness and diversity in about a decade or so that artists who even if they had lifetimes wouldn't be able to produce...as said before they could do any genre really and do it better the 90 percent of artist who specialised in just one genre....can't wait for your live aid reaction...Bob Geldof who produced it as a charity effect stated that until Queen took the stage no donations were coming in on the phones..Bob was pissed then Queen came on and phones started ringing off the hook and and they ending up by the end raising approx 150 million pounds by the end....Bob thought Queen was the turning point for the concert
This was a double A-side single, off the infamous "Jazz" album, with the song "Bicycle Race". If you listen near the end Freddie says "get on your bikes and ride". Now the infamous part this album came with a poster of dozens of nude women on bicycles. In fact there is a video of that song, the story goes the band asked fir the bikes to shoot the video an a shop obliged. When they found out, after the fact, what happened the band had to pay for new seats for all the bikes.
to get a concept of their range, listen to 2 of their albums, complete. not necessarily as reaction, just for your pleasure: 1) a night at the opera 2) a day at the races
There is a line in this song that reference another song, you don't have to do a reaction to it, but watch the official video to Bicycle Race. That was classic Freddie Mercury making a mundane subject interesting to some.

You should do the live version of Bohemian Rhapsody Montreal 81. It's fine you may still not like that song or get it generally. D: But the sheer spectacular singing, effort, and emotion Freddie puts in is off the scale as usual. Freddie and Queen are always unbelievable live they could perform a nursery rhyme and it would be spectacular. lol
@@DoIttMiaaaa No worries. You recall that I said to you no one knows what it means. Freddie never told us because he wanted us to have our own ideas on this one. The middle of the song is them going stir crazy at the fact they can't take back what they've done. The end is them calming down and realizing this is their situation and they can't do nothing about.
