“In 1978, astrophysicist Dr. Brian May, assisted by F. Mercury, postulated that the Earth's rotation was due to 'Fat-Bottomed Girls'. After more than 40 years without being disproven, refuted, or really even seriously questioned, this now must be considered scientific fact.” - some meme I saw online, with some slight editing by me (to correct spelling and punctuation errors)
This is my favorite Queen album....was released on my birthday weekend in 1978...I was 18... India, I still have the ALBUM and the original poster of those fat bottomed girls on their bikes wearing just their helmets and tennis shoes inside.....🚲🚲
This is such a fun song. I remember when this came out we all would sing it all the time and we didn't even have fat bottoms but it still was such a great and catchy song. Where to go next with Queen...well, the list is a long one, you can't go wrong with Queen. Even if the song is not your favorite, it will still be a great song with excellent musicianship. Honestly, as good as Queen is on studio recordings, they are even better live. Two live songs to start with are going to be Somebody to Love live at Montreal 1981 and White Queen live at Odeon, Hammersmith 1975. Both of these are perfect live performances by the entire band and no autotune back then, just pure raw talent.Thank you for your reaction.
Such a beautiful song and so atypically Queen even though it is no question who the band is when you hear the song. Most of John's songs are not typical Queen sound but all beautiful. I am a huge fan of Spread Your Wings, what an inspirational song that one is. So important today when people seem to feel powerless against the powers that be.
Loved your reaction - I always thought this song was brilliant especially as the fashion industry at the time was obsessed with Twiggy and ultra skinny had just become a thing.
The very first band i fell in love with. My first crush was Blonde. Yeah early 70's. Then i got my hands on a couple of Ked Zeppelin 8-tracks. That was it. 4th grade Zep head. Then tool came out. I got their first cd (yeah 8 track to cd) and i heard the furst song. I hot stop, and called my brother from a nother mother and said "you gotta get over here and listen to this shit!!" He came over. Thier not Led Zeppelin, but they definitely are not like anything else. India try "Stone cold crazy" from Queen. That shit ricks.
Girl.....How I even got here ....?? Went down the Billy Fury rabbit hole and found your previous account where you reviewed his songs....It's still going. Which account should I follow ? Peace and Love from the U.K xxx
Now you have no choice you need to react bicycle race they are linked. I love both equally! Also I just saw an old video of you reacting to Fairytale of New York by the Pogues. The singer Shane Mcgowan just passed away and they sung the song at his funeral it was lived on tv. You have to react to it, everyone was dancing including his wife. You are going to see a lot of famous faces.
The song is called fat bottom girls, even though Freddie Mercury was a fruitcake. This song was made for the fellas who, like being in big booties from the honeys not from the fruit cakes.

Awesome song! And thank you beautiful lady! Your gorgeous 😉
Always thought it was "take me to those loaded ladies every time"
Originally, it was "lardy ladies!"

Well, he isn't wrong. Thick thighs may save lives but a big 'ol butt makes it worth living.
