a lightweight TPU mount and slightly smaller lipo will result in good flight times by still having plenty of power. didnt even go full throttle on this test. today i just made it extra heavy to see what happend. flies even better as before because it got some weight on to throw it into turns. if its lightweight it feels too powerful and floaty. doesnt wanna come down when throttle is zero. now it feels perfect. i will make more flights with this. is fun. Dead cat version tests also coming soon.
Wow mate, it still seems effortless carrying all that weight! What the hell!? This is an impressive little beast! Where's your affiliate link? I'm off to the iFlight shop! This is a perfect quad for travel! 🥰👌
it is! an no jello. how! i think the small props dont have enough mass to induce any vibrations to the heavy cam. i love it! means i dont need any ND nonsense or printed mounts to get my video done with the A4 next time. wohooo!
Hey, you should walk into IFIight and get the new HQ 4x3x3 props that were matched to this. You will have a little more punch, top speed and probably more easy carrying loads. I just ordered some from Iflight. Totally agree with you on the portability with 4". Love it.

hey I just got this.. what was the settings for camera you suggested? I added a little stabilization in gyroflow and re-uploaded since I forgot to turn on rocksteady..rookie mistake.
cheers mate. no problem! so you set O3 unit in your goggles to: - 4k60 16:9 WIDE - white balance 5200k (neutral light) or 5800k (for sunset and warmer tones) - rocksteady on or off your choice - exposure settings manual SHUTTER AUTO but ISO 100-400max enjoy
Ok a 4 inch can take that weight but as you can see the problem is the thrust to weight ratio. normally you want 8:1 namely 1/2 of the thrust of one motor. A typical 2004 motor will do 800g thrust with a 4" prop ideal weight would be 400g so running at over 800g you are significantly reducing the maneuverability and ability to recover. Also with the heavier weight you also use up your battery quicker. Try flying it with the 1500 mah battery without the gopro and see how it handles with the lower weight.
wait what? why you say i can see the problem? i was barely flying half throttle the entire time and didnt even had full throttle once. i mentioned this first flight i wanna take it easy to see what happens. and at the end i also said i will make a video where i go faster. i flew 4 and 5 inch quads with liion packs enough before and THAT was much worse weight ratio wise. like a lot worse. i never had a situation where i couldnt get out from a fall in time. of course you need to fly accordingly to what you wanna do. throwing a full size gopro 11 on and do freestyle all day long is maybe not the way to go. for that i agree with you. but to have a tiny quad which can take any action camera on market and get the video done you usually need a much bigger drone is good i think. and for that it have already way too much power. more than i ever need. i can make a video tomorrow where i put in some full throttle punches. you will see its still plenty powerful 🤪😋🫶🏻😘 ps i already flew it with that battery. and i made a full video about that. you didnt watch my channel didnt ya? ah now i am mad. you hear me? MAAAD! 🤣
@@cloudpandarism2627 Yeah i did see that flight, I must of missed that big ass battey on it. 🤦♂ You know now as a follow up your going to have to put a even bigger battery to see how much can she take.
@@mr-huggy yeah good idea, what you recon? biggest 6s in the size can fit this lipo tray would be 1550mah. today i tested 1500mah because its a bit longer but overall not so fat. next higher 6s i got here is 2200mah but that doesnt fit anymore. and we will easy reach over 1kg. i think a naked gopro or mini with a 1300mah pack would fit perfect and still have plenty of power.
Thanks for your effort! Nice video! I believe that with GoPro 11 Mini will be nice set up 👍🏻
