It has been brought to my attention that not only are there some tricks that I missed, there are some other mistakes that make tricks even more stupid than I originally thought. I will release an addendum to this video but do not have a ton of time to work on it in the meantime, so it may be a couple of months! Just know that tricks in this game are even stupider than I made them out to be in this video ;)
.. characters tricking is literally the pinnacle of my enjoyment in mkwii, i just love the sounds of my favorite characters hoop and hollering off their karts/bike in enthusiasm.
I got to the end of the video before realising YOU ONLY HAVE 83 SUBS???? Great video which just proved to me yet again that there's always something to learn about this game (even if it's that the miis of all characters have some badass tricks). Keep it up and I'm sure that number will get to the thousands in no time
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe definitely improved many of the animations. You should give them a shot some time. There's a grand total of 302 tricks (with karts and bikes) A few conditions though: K. Boo, BJ, Inkling Boy and Girl and DB don't have unique bike tricks Female Miis have unique tricks The Mii suits added in v3.0.0 have unique Anti-Grav tricks, with the ? Block, Castle, Dry Bowser and Ice Cream suits having ones for bikes too Peach, Baby Daisy and Larry have one Inside-Drift trick Tanooki Mario's Anti-Grav trick is the same for both Karts and Bikes
Heavyweights actually have more than 7 tricks as well, the bike tricks are different depending on whether you’re using a standard bike (Standard/Flame Runner/Spear) or reclined bike (Wario Bike/Shooting Star/Phantom)
I would have agreed with you; however, after spending 7+ weeks making this video and staring intently at all of the trick animations, I think they are all terrible
I decided not to include the low trick because it wasn't intended as a category by Nintendo. Plus, low tricks are so fast their animations are practically nonexistent
